Will need to successfully complete training in Basic Electric & Hydraulics. Complete RJG Master Molder-I training - perform e-Dart analysis; train others. Safely use mold handling PIV's. Perform minor maintenance and repairs. Communicates well with associates, coordinators, suppliers and customers, coordinates work in a positive and professional manner. Reporting to the Field Technology Lead and the SPW Business Unit Lead, the successful candidate will support the implementation of building control, laser scanning capture, and post-processing efforts across the Richmond Business Unit and the Northeast region. Responsibilities Support the overall Field Technology services across the Richmond business unit and designated projects Support existing conditions and as-built surveys for upcoming and current projects throughout the region. Support and/or perform initial surveying & field layout activities with robotic total stations to support field validation, quality control, and quality assurance. The duties of the Janitorial Technician is to clean and keep in good order the Association's property, common areas, and grounds throughout the community including lobby areas, corridors, gym, social room, elevators and landings, trash rooms, restrooms, and garage. The Custodian reports to the General Manager. Compensation: $20-21/hr. FirstService Residential will compensate the successful candidate in accordance with the posted range. The salary or wage paid to the successful candidate will be commensurate with experience, education, and specific job responsibilities. The Janitorial Technician will maintaining an attractive, safe, and pleasing environment for residents is of the utmost importance in delivering service to the community. Under supervision, performs routine cleaning, maintaining of building and grounds in the common areas. Maintaining a good relationship with the residents is required. Job Responsibilities: * Remove litter from common areas and public right-of-way areas daily and per schedule. * Clean restrooms per prescribed schedule and document in the appropriate log. * Ensure that supplies/tools are always attended to. * Store tools/cart out of sight while on break. * Clean and sanitize restroom facilities and fixtures, including sinks, urinals, toilets, mirrors, and walls. * Clean and sanitize showers and replenish supplies in restrooms as scheduled. * Sweep, vacuum, mop, wax, strip, and polish floors; vacuum and shampoo carpets as scheduled, maintaining documentation in appropriate log. * Dust and polish furniture, woodwork, fixtures, and equipment. * Clean kitchen countertops as needed. * Empty and sanitize waste receptacles; pick up papers and other debris per schedule. * Move and arrange furniture and equipment; set up rooms for meetings as needed. * Maintain common areas, including sweeping decks, power washing walkways, removing cobwebs, cleaning deck furniture, emptying and cleaning ashtrays, removing fallen yard debris, and disposing of garbage at appropriate disposal sites. * Operate a variety of hand and power tools, including saws, drills, floor buffers, vacuums, carpet cleaners, power washers, and other tools used in building and ground maintenance. * Remove graffiti and repair common area components damaged by vandalism daily, recording work in the appropriate log system. * Perform minor repairs on common area buildings and equipment as needed, documenting for follow-through with the appropriate work order system. * Install light bulbs and conduct minor repairs on ground-level lighting or lighting reachable with a 6-foot ladder. * Paint exterior and interior walls, doors structures, fencing, etc., when needed, documenting through the appropriate work order process. * Complete safety meetings course. * Attend all Staff-mandatory functions. * Comply with company policies and procedures. * Cleaning of Community Parks Removing litter, Cleaning public restrooms, benches, tables, BBQs, pavilions and tot lots. Removing graffiti, emptying trash, replacing basketball net when needed. * Other projects and opportunities as deemed necessary and appropriate for this position.
