In April 2011, the Commonwealth of Massachusetts designated Becker as the home of the Massachusetts Digital Games Institute (MassDiGI). The college's enrollment has grown to 1,902, and students have the opportunity to live and study in the urban atmosphere of Worcester or the rural environment of Leicester.
