There's many especially because the store is located in a decently highend part of the city. Recently a lady wanted use to give her cash back on a purchase she had made 9 years ago. Funny thing about our policy is that if she had the receipt we would have given her the cash back gladly. Another woman wanted her bridal items returned for cash, all $8,750 of it. But to top it off about 2 years ago when Laura and George Bush moved here to Dallas ,Laura wanted to come shop for their new home so the Secret Service called our store manager and requested if he could close the store for 4 hours so Laura could come shop. His answer? " my apologies but I don't close my store for anyone, even mrs.Bush sir. I'd be glad to though if she were to make a $16,000 purchase for every hour she decides to shop to make up the average loss of sales we would encounter as a result" I think you can guess who didn't come to shop that day.
As im writing this reply im dropping one right in our restroom. Probably a lady returning a Wok in its original box, I asked her if it had been used. I would still return the item and everything but I didn't wanna put something on the shelves that was dirty. She told me she had never used it once. ***. I could smell the nasty rotting garlic and beef as it was raping my nasal cavities. I opened it and to my surprise there was exactly that. The beef was molding and rotting up I was to the point were I was holding the vomit it my throat.
I enjoyed the co workers that I worked with. For the most part the GM had done a good job hiring people to be cashiers. They were willing to lend a helping hand when needed.
The GM was not very understanding about personal issues that caused a conflict with my schedule. I was at school at the time and one of my labs had to be rescheduled, I notified the manager 2 weeks ahead of time but I was not allowed to change my schedule or swap shifts.
Discounts on store items.
