Our Outside Sales Engineer is supporting our High Voltage Maintenance business. HVM is an electrical engineering and testing company providing comprehensive testing, maintenance, and engineering services to a variety of industries including utilities, data centers, renewable energy, commercial and industrial industries. This position will report to the Regional Sales Manager covering the Cleveland area and will provide sales and technical support for all the selling resources in that area. The Outside Sales Engineer is responsible for generating new business and maintaining relationships with existing key customers.
RESPONSIBILITIES
Make regular sales calls on existing accounts and establish relationships with new customers.
Make effective customer presentations.
Provide proposals or service contracts for HVM's services and repair work.
Coordinate and schedule work with Service Center Manager and with customers.
Promote sales through active participation in trade shows and professional societies.
Work with Business Administrator to develop weekly invoicing and monthly status reports.
EDUCATION AND CERTIFICATIONS
Bachelor's Degree Engineering, Electrical or Mechanical
Graduate of Electrical Technical School
Military certification with at least 3 years of directly related work experience will be held as equivalent to the educational requirement.

What You Will Do

Summary:
A Certified Respiratory Therapist delivers respiratory interventions and support for patients with acute respiratory problems, as well as routine care for chronic respiratory disorders. They assist in the treatment and management of patients with common pulmonary conditions, such as asthma, COPD, and pneumonia. CRTs administer respiratory treatments, monitor equipment, and educate patients and families on the proper usage of respiratory therapies and devices.
Essential Work Functions:
Assist in implementing and adjusting patient treatment plans under the guidance of physicians or RRTs
Examine and interview patients with breathing and/or cardiopulmonary disorders
Perform diagnostics tests, such as measuring lung capacity or collecting blood/sputum samples
Administer respiratory treatments, including aerosol medications and oxygen therapy
Set up and monitor equipment to ensure the patient is receiving the correct amount of oxygen at the correct rate
Observe and record patient status and progress
Educate patients and/or family members on how to properly take medication and use equipment
Perform other duties as assigned within the scope of CRT practice
Required Essential Skills:

The Case Manager is responsible for enhancing the quality of patient management and satisfaction, to promote continuity of care and cost effectiveness through the integrating and functions of case management, utilization review and discharge planning. The incumbent in this role adheres to strict departmental goals/objectives, standards of performance, regulatory compliance, quality patient care compliance and policies and procedures.
ESSENTIAL JOB DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES:
Coordinates the integration of social services/case management functions into the patient care, discharge and home planning processes with other departments, external service organizations, agencies and healthcare facilities.
Conducts concurrent medical record review using specific indicators and criteria as approved by medical staff.
Acts as a patient advocate: investigates and reports adverse occurrences and performs staff education related to resource utilization, discharge planning and psychosocial aspects of healthcare delivery.
Promotes effective and efficient utilization of clinical resources and mobilizes resources to assist in achieving desired clinical outcomes within specific timeframe.
Conducts review for appropriate utilization of services from admission through discharge. Evaluates patient satisfaction and quality of care provided.
Communicates with physicians at regular intervals throughout hospitalization and develops an effective working relationship. Assists physicians in maintaining appropriate cost, case and desired patient outcomes.
Other responsibilities may include:
Coordinates the provision of social services to patients, families and significant others to enable them to deal with the impact of illness on individual family functioning and to achieve maximum benefits from healthcare services.
Completes expanded assessment of patients and family needs at time of admission. Completes psychosocial assessment.
Refers cases where patients and/or family would benefit from counseling to complete complex discharge plan to social worker.
Serves as a patient advocate. Enhances a collaborative relationship to maximize the patient's and family's ability to make informed decisions.
Facilitates interdisciplinary patient care rounds and/or conferences to review treatment goals, optimize resource utilization, provide family education and identified post-hospital needs.
Directs and participates in the development and implementation of patient care policies and protocols to provide advice and guidance in handling special cases or patient needs.
Performs other duties as assigned and modified at manager's discretion.
