The
Guest Room Attendant
is responsible to ensure that cleanliness in assigned guest rooms is achieved in accordance with Omni standards
Responsibilities
Responds to all guest requests appropriately and remains alert, courteous, and helpful to guests and fellow associates at all times.
Keep work cart orderly and properly stocked at all times.
Inspect room linens before placing in rooms.
Checks all equipment prior to and after its use to ensure that it is in good working order and if necessary completes required engineering report as needed.
Thorough cleanliness and sanitation of guest rooms (including bathrooms, balconies, and room furnishings).
Practice safety standards at all times including constant awareness of safety hazards (for example, broken glass, frayed electrical chords, leaks, broken locks, and suspicious persons) and report to the appropriate departments.
Follow all training procedures set forth by OSHA requirements.
Follow all Loss Prevention procedures regarding guest property; absolute respect for guest property should always be exercised.
Reports to work on time and according to posted schedule; follows procedures for clocking in and out, completion of time edit sheets, and PTO request forms, if applicable.
HOTEL SPECIFIC FUNCTIONS:
Cross-training in proper floor care techniques and guestroom turndown standards.
MARGINAL FUNCTIONS:
Respond to any reasonable task as assigned by supervisor or manager.
Assist in other departments as needed
Attend monthly departmental meetings
TOOLS/EQUIPMENT:

Position Details
Behavioral Health Technicians provide one-on-one interventions to a child or adolescent at home, school, and/or community setting when the behavior without this intervention would require a more restrictive treatment or educational setting.

• Implements a behavior modification treatment plan targeting the recommendations from the psychological evaluation and developed by a senior level team member. Direction will determine for the setting for implementation of the treatment plan based upon medical necessity.
• Utilizes prescribed interventions as needed when the child exhibits problematic behaviors in each particular setting. Targets child specific antecedent, behavioral/teaching, consequent, reinforcement strategies techniques and additional psychosocial rehabilitative activities as prescribed in the treatment plan.
• Implements and models intervention techniques for members of the treatment team to stabilize the child or adolescent, lending support for family efforts to stabilize the child or adolescent, by transferring appropriate techniques and skills, and to promote developmentally and/or age-appropriate behavior. (i.e. the parent, grandparent, care givers, teachers, Personal Care Aide) for the transfer of skills which allows for successful discharge of services.
• Collaborates with all members of the treatment team and professionals working in the home or other community settings, including the family.
• Documents behavioral and program data during session, from each environment; Maintains progress notes for every billable contact or per regulatory and program requirements.
• Maintains contact with case specific treatment team.
• Submits payroll weekly or as directed by supervisor; including all county specific paperwork required with weekly submission.
• Receives scheduled supervision from an assigned clinical supervisor
• Attends training as required; attains required training hours per fiscal year.
• May perform other related duties, when required or assigned.

A 10 week (300 hour) enriching Community Therapeutic Recreation internship primarily focused within the independent and assisted living community.
The internship will focus on the diversity of the "wellness" program and the intern will assess and implement programs and activities to engage residents in physical, social, creative and intellectual pursuits, according to their varied interests and abilities.
A candidate for the acceptance into the internship program would be an individual with a college degree in Exercise Science, Human Development and Family Studies, Kinesiology, or a current student of similar curricula matriculated at an accredited institution, and an individual with a genuine interest in serving and caring for a senior adult population.
Job Summary:
This is a 300 hour paid internship designed to provide the student with hands-on experience in therapeutic recreation for senior adults. Under the guidance of the Therapeutic Recreation Director, the intern will assist in creating and implementing individual and group activities that meet the psychosocial needs of residents. This internship will provide learning opportunities in care planning, interdisciplinary collaboration, and program evaluation, all within a supportive environment.
Essential Functions:
* Treats all information about residents, their condition, and family as confidential information.
* Complies with established Corporate and Departmental policies and procedures and maintains established standards and practices.
* Supports the Therapeutic Recreation Director in the implementation and execution of individual and group activities for residents in the Health Care Center.
* Assists in resident assessments, care planning, and the implementation of individualized care plans, gaining exposure to care planning processes.
* Participates in the development, coordination, implementation, and evaluation of the activities program, gaining leadership experience by facilitating activities for residents.
* Collaborates with interdisciplinary teams, including resident care planning meetings, offering an opportunity to learn how different departments work together.

* Works with the Wellness and Assisted Lifestyles Directors to develop integrated activities across different care levels.
* Gains experience in the facilities' processes of Quality Assurance and Performance Improvement (QA/PI) processes. Interns may complete a research project or paper based on an identified QA/PI issue, under the supervision of the Therapeutic Recreation Director.

Qualifications:
* Currently pursuing a degree in Human Development and Family Studies, Occupational Therapy, Kinesiology, or a related field at an accredited institution.
