We are looking for friendly, energetic, and customer-oriented individuals to join our team as Servers. As a Server, you will be the face of our restaurant, responsible for providing excellent service to our guests by taking orders, serving food and beverages, and ensuring a positive dining experience. Youll work closely with the kitchen and management teams to deliver exceptional service and create an inviting atmosphere for every guest.
Key Responsibilities:
Guest Service: Greet and welcome guests in a friendly and professional manner. Provide menu information, make recommendations, and answer any questions regarding food, drinks, and specials.
Order Taking: Accurately take food and beverage orders, entering them into the POS system and ensuring all special requests and dietary restrictions are communicated to the kitchen.
Food & Beverage Delivery: Serve food and drinks promptly and accurately, ensuring each item meets quality standards and is presented according to restaurant specifications.
Guest Satisfaction: Ensure guests are satisfied throughout their meal by checking in on their experience, refilling drinks, and addressing any concerns or requests in a timely manner.
Up-selling & Promotions: Recommend menu items, daily specials, and beverages to enhance the guest experience. Actively engage in upselling to increase revenue.
Table Maintenance: Clear and clean tables quickly and efficiently between guests, reset tables for the next group, and maintain a tidy dining area.
Collaborate with Team: Work closely with other servers, kitchen staff, and management to ensure smooth service during busy periods. Help with tasks like rolling silverware, restocking supplies, and supporting team members as needed.
Cash Handling & POS System: Process payments, handle cash, credit card transactions, and ensure all checks are accurate. Provide change and receipts to guests as necessary.
Health & Safety Compliance: Follow food safety and sanitation guidelines, including handling food, beverages, and equipment safely and maintaining cleanliness at all times.
Qualifications:
Previous experience as a server or in a customer service role is preferred but not required.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills; able to engage with guests in a friendly, professional manner.
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail and a positive attitude.
Basic math skills for handling checks and processing payments.
Ability to stand, walk, and carry food and beverages for extended periods.
Must be able to lift up to [insert weight] and handle various restaurant equipment.
Knowledge of the menu and ability to learn about new items and specials.
Flexibility with hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.
Physical Requirements:
Ability to stand and move for long periods.

The Server is responsible for always providing prompt and friendly food and beverage service to all guests following the CHARM service model. Responsible for meeting or exceeding sales performance objectives as determined, communicated, and monitored by management.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
• Maintain a welcoming and friendly attitude, while contributing to a teamwork-based work environment.
• Learn the menu to explain offerings, make recommendations and suggestively sell to our Guests
• Provide each guest with a friendly welcome and memorable farewell to ensure a positive, memorable visit and promote repeat visits
• Follow CHARM service model to deliver a great Guest experience
• Suggestively sell and let guests know about current features and promotions
• Ensure Guests' order is accurately recorded and input into the MICROS in a timely manner
• Deliver food to guests within and outside of your section
• Check back with guests, provide refills and prebus throughout the guest experience
• Partner with other Team Members to ensure Guests all guests needs are met
• Perform opening and closing duties as well as running side work
• Ensure the highest quality preparation and presentation of food and beverage items are delivered to Guest.
• Responsible for attention and prompt response to the guests' needs and requests throughout their entire visit.
• Present an accurate guest check, accept payment, and quickly complete the transaction.
• Answer the phone and assist with answering guests' questions in a friendly, courteous manner.
• Serve alcoholic beverages in accordance with the Ruby Tuesday Responsible Serving Statement Policy.
• Immediately notify management of incidents involving possible excessive alcohol consumption or an impaired condition.
• Process guest checks and payments in compliance with cash handling, credit card and accounting policies and procedures
• Report all tips in compliance with company policy and IRS regulations.
• Consistent professional and positive attitude and actions when communicating with guests and team
• Other responsibilities as assigned
Qualifications
QUALIFICATIONS
• Must be at least 18 years of age (some states may require 21 in order to serve alcohol)
• High School Diploma or High School equivalency preferred
• No prior work experience required
• Ability to understand and provide friendly guest service.
• A desire to help where needed and work as part of a team
• Flexibility to work a variety of shifts including nights, weekends, and holidays
• Ability to understand and comply with proper food handling and serving techniques and with federal, state and local serving regulations.
• Ability to process cash handling and credit card in compliance with policies and procedures.
• Ability to operate a computer, calculator, and phone.
• Attention to details with good organizational and efficient time management skills.
• Consistent professional attitude and behavior with effective listening and communication skills.

Reporting to the General Manager and Restaurant Manager, the Server greets, seats and services guests in a friendly and courteous manner, takes and delivers orders, suggestively sells, receives payment and assists other service personnel as needed to provide total guest satisfaction. Responsibilities
Greets and seats guests upon arrival, maintaining a waitlist as needed
Sells merchandise including gift cards and bakery items
Ensures the host station and other areas stay clean and stocked throughout the shift

Job Summary
We are looking for a Server who brings friendly energy, enthusiasm, and willingness to learn and grow. As a member of the team, youll help give our guests a dining experience they will never forget.
Responsibilities
Provides excellent customer service to all guests, ensuring their satisfaction
Greets guests promptly, assists with menu selection, and makes recommendations when necessary
Accurately takes and places orders, delivering them promptly once prepared
Addresses guests' concerns or issues, escalating to management as needed
Maintains cleanliness of tables, dining area, and pantry during shift
Completes all side work as assigned
All other duties as assigned
Qualifications
Prior serving experience is preferred, but not required
Excellent customer service and interpersonal skills
Ability to work in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment
Ability to lift and carry up to 50 lbs.
Ability to stand, walk, reach, and bend for extended periods
