Strong interpersonal and communication skills; able to build rapport quickly. Skilled in motivational interviewing and adaptable in treatment approaches. Knowledge of multiple therapy methods (CBT, ACT, Solution Focused, REBT, Reality, Person-Centered, Gestalt). Familiar with HIPAA, 42 CFR, state/federal regulations, and professional ethics. Able to work evenings/weekends as needed; strong record-keeping and critical thinking skills. Self-aware with healthy boundaries, self-care practices, and collaboration skills. Preferred Dual licensure (P/LMHP/LIMHP and P/LADC). Key Responsibilities Provide individual, group, and family counseling. Assess client needs, develop diagnostic evaluations, and create treatment plans. Guide clients in setting goals, building strengths, and changing maladaptive behaviors. Deliver crisis intervention, education, and referrals to community resources. Maintain accurate, timely documentation and reports. Support discharge and aftercare planning for continuity of care. Collaborate with supervisors, colleagues, and referral partners. Stay current with continuing education and counseling best practices.
