About the role
We are looking for a sharp, forward thinking Lead Counsel, Payments and Regulatory to expand our portfolio of financial products. What you will do
Serve as a trusted legal advisor to the business, including product, engineering, operations, and marketing teams, on our US and global payments and fintech offerings
Provide product counseling across the product lifecycle-from ideation and design through launch and scale-covering regulatory analysis, risk assessment, terms and disclosures, marketing, and regulator interactions
Navigate complex and evolving global regulatory frameworks to enable compliant product development
Help design and scale the legal infrastructure for payments in the US and around the globe

What you will need

Overview: Seeking an experienced BCBA to join our team in Kent, WA. This role offers part-time or full-time scheduling options. Unlike typical BCBA positions, you will not be responsible for conducting FBAs or writing BIPs. Job Summary

Compile tracking sheets and chart behaviors on a monthly basis to determine any patterns
Provide monthly progress reports for each individual contracted to receive BCBA Services for both internal and external stakeholders
Oversee the submission, approval and implementation of Exceptions to Policy or Rule pertaining to restrictions or those that occur as a result of Positive Behavior Support Plans; ensure annual renewal, as necessary
Review and revise plans, every 6 months, at a minimum
Collaborate with others to provide comprehensive support services
Be available as a resource to the Clinical team to assist with, consult on, and when time and capacity permit, write Functional Assessments and Positive Behavior Support Plans for other individuals supported by the agency

Minimum Qualifications:
Education, Training, and Experience for BCBA:
Possess a minimum of a Masters degree or national equivalent with a major in psychology, special education, Applied Behavior Analysis, or related field of study is preferred.
Have obtained certification as a Board Certified BehaviorAnalyst (BCBA) as verified through the BehaviorAnalyst Certification Board and in good-standing
Licensed by the State of Washington as a Licensed BehaviorAnalyst (in good-standing)
A minimum of 2 years experience in working with children, adolescents, and/or adults with various special needs.
Education, Training, and Experience for BCBA's
Possess a minimum of a Master's degree or national equivalent with a major in psychology, special education, Applied Behavior Analysis, or related field of study and one or more of the following:
Currently have an active BCBA and Licensed BehaviorAnalyst licensure for the state of WA.
All Levels - Knowledge of:
Appropriate behavioral intervention strategies (DTT, NET, Verbal Behavior, Positive Behavior Intervention Supports)
Must be able to conduct thorough FBA's and develop stellar BSP's (BCBA's only)
Ethics, laws, and regulations of acceptable behavior interventions and professional conduct
Developmental processes of children, adolescents, and adults
Interpersonal skills needed to work with stakeholders, supervise staff, and manage crisis situations
Able to efficiently utilize technology, such as Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and ABA software platforms
Correct grammar, punctuation, and spelling

Skills and Abilities:
Assess situations and make proper judgments
Understand behavioral situations and react accordingly in an ethical manner
Objectively analyze crisis situations
Respond quickly to emergency situations
Handle aggressive and self-injurious behaviors of clients
Communicate effectively and make recommendations to various agency staff and outside professionals, groups, or individuals
Ability to professionally interact and build rapport with parents, staff, clients, and other stakeholders
Perform general clerical duties including maintain accurate client records and preparing clear and concise reports
Communicate effectively in both oral and written form with a diverse group of clients, parents/caregivers, school personnel, and other agency staff
Ability to lead others through example and constructive feedback
High aptitude for self-managing schedule and appointment
Use a computer and behavioral software to prepare documents and maintain client records
Work independently and make decisions within the framework of established guidelines
Follow guidance from senior level staff to enhance own professional development
Work with a diverse team of professionals in a respectful manner
Supervise clients during treatment sessions
Other Requirements:
Successful completion of fingerprinting and criminal history background check
Successful passing of drug testing
Satisfactory reference checks
Ability to lift a minimum of 25 lbs, bend, stoop, and sit on the floor for up to 30 minutes at a time
Job Duties:
Provide direct behavioral services to clients in individual and group sessions
Oversee ABA home and clinic-based programs and provide parent training and support
Complete weekly program writing and maintain client's program via on-line portal
Running monthly clinic/progress meetings with parents/guardians
Conduct behavioral and skills assessments and design treatment programs for clients
Work with and oversee Behavior Technicians to implement individualized treatment plans as per agency standards and BACB requirements
Collect data and graph data as instructed using technological programs, such as Microsoft Excel or behavioral software
Maintain respect and confidentiality for all clients
Maintain professional and technical knowledge by attending educational workshops; reviewing professional publications; establishing personal networks; and participating in professional societies
Maintain and protect the well-being of all clients during treatment sessions and when emergency crisis situations arise
Knowledge of medical billing for ABA and navigating insurance is preferred
Communicate client progress and cases to assigned Director
Be able to work with a diverse team of professionals to provide the best behavioral services possible to clients
Attend staff trainings and agency meetings
Other job duties as assigned by the Regional Director/CEO
