Staff Oversight & Support: Evaluate and support Registered Behavior Technicians in applying ABA techniques, ensuring adherence to evidence-based methodologies.
Assessment & Planning: Conduct functional behavior assessments (FBA), develop and implement Behavior Intervention Plans (BIPs), and recommend positive behavior supports tailored to individual needs.
Data Management: Accurately record, analyze, and manage real-time data on behaviors, utilizing ABA methods for skill acquisition and behavior reduction.
Material Preparation & Session Readiness: Prepare and organize instructional materials and resources to ensure effective session delivery in various settings.
Compliance & Professional Development: Track hours, meet BACB supervision requirements, and apply Crisis Prevention Intervention (CPI) techniques as needed.
Stakeholder Collaboration: Collaborate with relevant personnel (e.g., caregivers, therapists, school staff) to develop and refine behavior support strategies and provide updates on progress.
Board Certified Behavioral Analyst Qualifications:
Behavior Analysis Certification: Required certification in Behavior Analysis with maintenance of BCBA requirements every two years.
Ongoing Education & Ethics: Fulfill continuing education requirements and adhere to BACB ethics standards.
Supervision Training: Completed 8-hour supervision training and 3 hours of related continuing education.
Relevant Experience: Experience in evaluating and treating children with severe behavioral issues and autism spectrum disorder.
Background & Health Clearances: DOJ/FBI Live Scan Background clearance and TB clearance required.
Additional Certifications: Pro-Act, CPI, and/or CPR certifications are a plus.

• Models and trains staff in the principles and practice of Positive Behavior Support methodology.

Basic Function
The Intervention Specialist will support the effective implementation of the school's multi-tiered system of supports (MTSS) model and vision. The Intervention Specialist will assist in all MTSS procedures across the school, including communicating with school site teams, participating in the development of training for school staff and teachers, providing resources in the area of MTSS, guiding school-based processes, and monitoring data.
Responsibilities:
Work collaboratively with the leadership team and teachers to facilitate implementation of a multi-tiered system of supports (MTSS) at the school level.
Coach and mentor students who have been identified by the MTSS team who need intensified support;
Monitor the fidelity of implementation of MTSS, including the identification of students, delivery of Tier 2 and 3 interventions, and progress monitoring.
Work with school staff on analyzing student needs and identifying research-based interventions across academics, behavior, and social-emotional learning (SEL).
Help establish data collection and analysis procedures through a data system (MAP and Interim Based Assessments) to inform decision-making around student needs and resource allocation.
Coordinate and facilitate MTSS professional development and training for school-based staff.
Compile and report on effectiveness of interventions on a monthly basis to improve school systems.
Develop and maintain positive working relationships with families, staff, and community members.
Requirements:
BA/BS degree or equivalent working experience;
Ability to work with and coach students in a variety of settings including: small group instruction, pull-out/push-in practices, classroom stations and rotations, etc.
Knowledge of a multi-tiered system of support (MTSS) model, implementation of MTSS, and intervention strategies
Ability to plan, organize, and work collaboratively with other teams
Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to create positive relationships
Strong organizational skills with excellent attention to detail
Proficient in intervention management software and Microsoft Office programs, including PowerPoint, Word, and Excel

What would this role do?
The Behavior Interventionist plays a critical role in implementing behavioral health treatments for children with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) and other developmental disabilities. Additional Pay Incentives:
+ $2/hour for weekend shifts

Role Responsibilities (Here's what it takes)
Provide 1:1 care directly with Clients during scheduled sessions under the supervision of a Board- Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA).
Implement established behavioral treatment plans based on the science of applied behavior analysis (ABA) across skill levels, moderate to severe problem behaviors, and service delivery settings.
Ensure that 100% of the scheduled direct services are provided without any scheduling interruptions.
Maintain accurate and timely documentation of client progress, interventions, and outcomes.
Collect data related to Client's progress during treatment sessions.
Incorporate activities and games that are developmentally appropriate and engaging for the client in alignment with the treatment plan.
Promote Client engagement to build their strengths in a natural and enjoyable manner.
Consulting with case Supervisor on treatment plans, Client updates, and intervention strategies.
Receiving and utilizing ongoing training, guidance, and support.
Follow program procedures, administrative tasks, direct therapy skills, and other duties that are in line with our compliance requirements.
Maintaining reliable communication to record scheduled appointments and return phone calls within 24 hours.
Ensuring that the company's “zero tolerance policy” is understood, implemented, and reinforced in the region.
Completing all duties, tasks, and/or special projects assigned by leaders and/or the business.
Participating in team meetings, trainings, and professional development opportunities.
Providing make up hours as an alternate care team member.

The position is responsible for assisting a certified teacher in implementing a multi-sensory individualized educational plan (IEP) for each student with disabilities in a self-contained classroom with twelve to fourteen students.. ESSENTIAL DUTIES
* Assists the classroom teacher
* Ensures every student has a working behavior plan written by the BCBA and implemented by the behavior technician to include: measurement, assessment, skill acquisition, behavior reduction, documentation, reporting and professional conduct.
* Works with students in a one on one setting to reinforce instruction and help students learn academic and functional skills
* Reports progress regarding student behavior and performance to teacher/BCBA
* Supervises students alone while the teacher is in an IEP
* Participates in the maintenance of individual and classroom records including progress reports, behavior plans and records and daily attendance records in accordance with school policies; ensures confidentiality is maintained.
* Helps creates instructional bulletin boards, work areas, and other materials displayed in accordance with lesson themes, activities, and seasons.
* Implements behavior plans and interventions throughout the school day with assigned students.
* Responds appropriately to incidents and problems as they arise among the students in order to de-escalate them as quickly as possible; uses proactive and crisis intervention skills in communicating with child/ren; participates in physical interventions as necessary, in accordance with Agency policies and procedures.
* Attends and participates in faculty meetings, in-service programs and workshops to maintain professional knowledge and skills and keep informed as to Agency policies and programs that may impact on students; attends CPI/TCI training and utilizes its techniques and meets requirements of a registered behavior technician.
* Assists in maintaining health and safety of students by being aware of environment and the potential of student actions; assists the teacher or specialist according to established guidelines and procedures.
* Assists students by providing behavioral examples, implementing continuous measurement procedures, using reinforcement and various teaching methods, displaying values and morals, providing emotional support, a friendly attitude and general guidance; assists in directing group activities of students at lunch and other times.
