    Job DescriptionSalary: $35-40 Job Title: Behavior Support Specialist Position Type: Part Time (up to 10-15 hours/week) Job Summary: The Behavior Support Specialist (BSS) will work closely with the clinical director to provide supervision, training, and oversight to direct support professionals in Circle Havens community based support program. The BSS will coordinate care between the direct support professionals and the clinical director and will be responsible for scheduling and oversight. In addition, the BSS will assist the clinical director in functional behavior assessments and behavior support plan development. Key Responsibilities: Oversight and provisions of direct support to adults with autism spectrum disorder. Assign and schedule direct support professionals to work with adults with ASD. In the absence of an identified support professional, the BSS will cover shifts as needed. During the intake process, the BSS will work 1:1 with adults with autism in the community setting. Collaborate with the clinical director to deliver applied behavior analytic services. Assist with indirect, descriptive, and experimental assessments. Conduct preference assessments. Analyze data trends for behaviors targeted for deceleration and acceleration to ensure progress. Assist with the development of individual behavior support plans. Ensure behavior intervention plans and skill acquisition teaching plans are implemented with high fidelity. All other duties as assigned. Qualifications: Minimum education is a bachelors degree in applied behavior analysis, psychology, education, social work, public health counseling or similar. Minimum of 1 year of supervised experience which includes implementing functional behavior assessments and behavior support plans. Registered Behavior Technician Certification preferred. Strong written and visual communication skills Strong organization skills and ability to work independently Passion for the non-profit sector and a deep commitment to the organization's mission.
