What You'll Do
As a valued member of our interdisciplinary care team, you will:
Support pediatric and adolescent patients and families coping with hospitalization, treatment, or loss
Use therapeutic play, education, and preparation to reduce fear and anxiety

Qualifications:
Education/Experience
Bachelor's degree in Child Life, Child Development, Psychology, or related field with all clinical coursework for clinical Child Life Certification completed.
Completion of a 600-hour Child Life internship under the direct supervision of a Certified Child Life Specialist.
Work experience with children, youth, and families in non-healthcare settings also preferred.
Skill Requirements:
Plans and implements comprehensive Child Life services.
Broad knowledge of child developmental theories, specific illnesses/diagnosis, medical terminology physical, emotional, cognitive, and psychosocial needs of children 0-21 years.
Ability to assess and respond to the developmental and psychosocial needs of infants, children, youth, and families using the theories of human growth and development, therapeutic play, and emotionally supportive interventions.
Provides emotionally supportive play and preparation for pediatric patients undergoing surgery, medical tests, and procedures.

Licensure:
Must obtain Certified Child Life Certification (CCLS) from the Association of Child Life Professionals (ACLP) within one year of employment.

About the Position
We are looking to hire a Full Time Night shift On Call Mental Health Associate at our programs in the Lane County area, including Eugene, Springfield, and Junction City, Oregon. These position works as a member of a direct care team serving adults with severe and persistent mental illness. Primary responsibilities include supporting the development of life skills and therapeutic interventions, performing housekeeping, preparing meals, administering medication, and keeping accurate clinical documentation. In addition, you will receive crisis de-escalation training, which requires performing various physical, hands-on maneuvers and techniques.
Please keep the following things in mind:
On Call staff must work a minimum of 32 shift hours per month
On Call staff must attend a minimum of one staff meeting per month (and clinical supervision if a QMHA)
On Call staff must stay current on company training
On Call staff must respond to facility requesting coverage within 2 hours of initial call. In some cases, more notice can be provided.

Vocational Training Program

Through this program, this certification can be achieved in as little as 6 months. This is an optional program.

OR minimum three (3) years of verifiable behavioral health experience working with individuals with behavioral health needs in a supervised setting;
OR equivalent combination of behavioral science education in addition to satisfactory supplemental behavioral health experience and training
If not already registered as a QMHA through the Mental Health & Addiction Certification Board of Oregon (MHACBO), we will assist you in registering within 30 days of hire.
Vocational Training Program: Employees in the optional Vocational Training Program will have additional training expectations to meet the requirements for QMHA testing.

About the Position
We have a general job posting that captures all of our existing open positions for mental health associates at different facilities in Lane County! We are hiring Residential Associates and Personal Care Associates (PCAs). These positions require that applicants have the ability to work as a member of a direct care team serving adults with serious mental illness; support the development of life skills and therapeutic interventions; keep accurate clinical documentation; and provide housekeeping, meal preparation, and medication administration.

Position Summary
The BRIDGE Clinic at Oregon Tech is a University affiliated regional clinic, currently providing clinic-based services to children within Klamath County. We are currently looking to add strong, purpose-driven Behavior Analysts to our team to provide services and supervision in our clinic, family homes, and local schools.
At BRIDGE we work tirelessly to provide outstanding, ethical and empirically-based services rooted in the tenets of Applied Behavior Analysis. We believe strongly in helping all members of our community regardless of location, socio-economic status or disability.
This position reports to the Clinic Director and the incumbent's responsibilities include, though are not limited to:
* Train and manage direct therapy staff
* Participate in supervision of BCBA & BCaBA candidates (if eligible)
* Conduct assessment updates and author re-authorization plans
* Ensure reliable and valid data collection
* Analyze data/behavior and makes decisions based on data
* Develop specific teaching procedures for the targets
* Guide ongoing implementation of teaching procedures for the targets
* Ensure program directives from clinical team are implemented accurately and timely
* Consult with local school districts in collaborative and positive manner, to include conducting FBAs and writing behavior plans, training teachers and other school staff on those plans, assisting with Multi-tiered System of Support processes for students with behavior challenges
* Generate consultation notes and distributes
* Consult with clients and provides continuous program direction and maintenance
As a BCBA at Oregon Tech, you'll be given a diverse caseload, ongoing training and scheduled mentorship to help nurture and grow your clinical, supervisory and leadership skills.
BCBAs are expected to provide billable services at least 25 hours/week (in direct services or supervision).
Minimum Requirements Additional Requirements
* Masters in ABA or related field
* Active BCBA certification
* Working knowledge of: Verbal Behavior Milestones Assessment and Placement Program (VB-MAPP), Assessment of Functional Living Skills (AFLS), PEAK Relational Training System, Experimental Functional Analysis, and/or Skillstreaming
* Experience working in clinic, home and school settings, directing technicians and/or conducting parent training
* Ability to move objects weighing over 50 pounds
Preferred Qualifications
* Minimum of three years relevant experience in designing and/or implementing evidence-based treatment for children with developmental disabilities, autism, and/or challenging behaviors
* Minimum of two years of experience in supervision of BCBA candidates, BCaBAs and RBTs/behavioral technicians
* Highly organized and self-directed
* Flexible (with schedule)
* Competent at public speaking
* Presented at least once at a regional or national ABA conference
* Interest in research
