The Behavior Interventionist plays a critical role in implementing behavioral health treatments for children with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) and other developmental disabilities. Through strategic programs and initiatives, this position will assist families seeking support with Autism and other related developmental disabilities by providing behavioral health treatment in-home, at a support center or in a community. This position is responsible for making meaningful change in the Client and families' life.

Provide 1:1 care directly with Clients during scheduled sessions under the supervision of a Board- Certified BehaviorAnalyst (BCBA).
Implement established behavioral treatment plans based on the science of applied behavior analysis (ABA) across skill levels, moderate to severe problem behaviors, and service delivery settings.
Ensure that 100% of the scheduled direct services are provided without any scheduling interruptions.
Maintain accurate and timely documentation of client progress, interventions, and outcomes.
Collect data related to Client's progress during treatment sessions.
Incorporate activities and games that are developmentally appropriate and engaging for the client in alignment with the treatment plan.
Promote Client engagement to build their strengths in a natural and enjoyable manner.
Consulting with case Supervisor on treatment plans, Client updates, and intervention strategies.
Receiving and utilizing ongoing training, guidance, and support.
Follow program procedures, administrative tasks, direct therapy skills, and other duties that are in line with our compliance requirements.
Maintaining reliable communication to record scheduled appointments and return phone calls within 24 hours.
Ensuring that the company's “zero tolerance policy” is understood, implemented, and reinforced in the region.
Completing all duties, tasks, and/or special projects assigned by leaders and/or the business.
Participating in team meetings, trainings, and professional development opportunities.
Providing make up hours as an alternate care team member.

About Us
Familias First has been providing Applied Behavioral (ABA) services for individuals with disabilities since 2002. We work directly with children/individuals and also train caregivers on ABA interventions. Our staff attends an intensive training on ABA interventions and how to work with parents.
Areas we serve
We service clients in various cities around the San Gabriel Valle (Torrance, South Gate, Huntington Park, Whittier, El Monte, Baldwin Park, South LA, East LA, San Gabriel, Mid City, Korea town, Pomona, etc.)
ABOUT THE POSITION:
This is a part-time position with CBC Education. The successful candidate will work closely with the client and parent, work with a team of clinical staff to tailor ABA interventions to help client meet their needs. The training is divided into two portions; first, the staff completes a 40 hrs. online training and guidance on applying for the RBT exam. The second part is the in-person training, where the employee meets the clinical team and practice/role play the ABA interventions learned on the online training. Go over data collection, parent training (training parent ABA interventions), safety policies & procedures, CPR & CPI training.
Guaranteed 15 - 25 hours per week
Provide 1:1 ABA Therapy at the clients home
Follow a Behavior Intervention Plan
Take data on client progress & parent training tracking
Teach parents ABA techniques.
Providing constructive feedback to clients/parents and being a motivator for our clients.
REQUIREMENTS:
Available to work Monday - Friday between 1 pm - 7:30 pm & Saturday's 8 am - 5 pm
High School Diploma, BA in Psychology, or related field (near completion is ok)
Previous experience working with children preferred but not required
Computer/laptop with a webcam, reliable internet Access & a private area for virtual trainings/meetings with the team.
Have own transportation & drive 25 miles from our office (San Gabriel, CA)
Great communication and problem-solving skills.
Willingness to motivate and help others thrive.

Behavior Interventionists (
BI
) implement behavior programs designed by a Board Certified BehaviorAnalyst. This work takes place in the home, school, or clinic. There are layers of support embedded in the company to ensure that both our clients and our staff realize their potential.
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university with a concentration in early childhood education, psychology, nursing or related field,
