BCBA Responsibilities:
Under the supervision of the Director of Special Education Services:
Act as a resource on behavior management to Special Education staff.
Provide coordination, consultation, and program development for behavior management processes.
Assist in the development and implementation of Behavioral Intervention Plans.
Act as case manager for students with behavioral needs placed in non-public school programs.
Conduct functional behavioral assessments and prepare documents.
Assist in soliciting meaningful involvement of parents in the implementation of positive behavior intervention plans and in the determination of appropriate placement.
Provide clinical oversight and supervision for student cases.
Provide and or coordinate staff development on behavior management.
Assure district awareness of the provision of full educational opportunities in a least restrictive environment.
Function as a cooperative and contributing member of district and multidisciplinary teams. Provide support in the implementation of the due process regulations.
Collect and analyze data to support documentation on progress for Individual Education Plans.

EXPERIENCE:

BCBA, BCaBA, and RBT supervision provided. Our interventionists assist in the application of behavioral programs that are based on the principles of Applied Behavior Analysis and specifically designed for each particular client. School based assignments involve supporting students through the school day with challenging behaviors. Assignments additionally involve working with the clients teaching play skills, social skills, language skills, attention skills, and self-help skills. The interventionist must integrate knowledge and capability to help clients manage their behaviors and must record daily progress in notes and on data collection forms. He or she will receive ongoing training and supervision and have regular communication with BCBA supervisors. Candidates require attention to detail both clinically and administratively.

- Must have experience with managing high levels of behaviors

ABA Behavior Interventionist

We currently have part time availability immediately! All positions begin at part time and build to full time within a few months.
Qualifications
• Bachelor's degree
• Experience working with kids, (preferably in a therapeutic setting)
• A passion for working with kids
• Valid California drivers license, car and insurance
• Willingness to drive to clients throughout the East Los Angeles and surrounding areas.
• Flexibility to start part-time with the possibility of full-time in the future

* San Marino

* Central Los Angeles
