Description
As a member of Apple's commercial litigation team, you will not be merely monitoring outside counsel. The position requires a high degree of self-sufficiency, independent judgment, and a trial-focused approach. Travel is anticipated. Minimum Qualifications
4+ years of major law firm and/or in-house litigation experience, including experience with competition-related litigation, subpoenas, and other investigations.
JD or equivalent and admission to at least one US state bar.

Trial experience and experience beyond competition related litigation.

Responsible for patient assessment pre and intra procedural care of patients undergoing invasive procedures or sedation in the Department of Radiology. This is accomplished according to an established plan of care under the direction of the Director of Operations and Radiology Nurse Coordinator in charge of Nursing who is a licensed Registered Nurse. These functions are performed in accordance with all applicable laws and regulations and MedStar Georgetown University Hospital's philosophy policies procedures and standards.
Primary Duties and Responsibilities
Provides pre-procedure telephone instruction and education to patients relating to their procedure.
Performs pre-procedure assessment appropriate documentation of assessment pre-procedure preparation of the patient which includes intravenous access review of allergies and laboratory results application of monitoring equipment and site preparation as indicated.
Monitoring is performed intra-procedure according to Radiology/Nursing policy to assess vital signs pallor responsiveness level of comfort emotional status; Neuro status and circulation are assessed according to Radiology policy and as indicated by the procedure; provides patient care utilizing the nursing process; information related to changes in patient's condition is relayed accurately and efficiently to the physician. Appropriate care and treatment are implemented; acts as a patient advocate; follows universal precautions.
Administers and titrating medications appropriately and in the correct increment dosages knowing the pharmacological effects and side effects of the medications being administered. Assesses and documents the patient's response to medications administered. Institutes appropriate treatment to medication induced changes in the patient's condition. Administers emergency drugs and utilizes emergency equipment knowledgeably and appropriately.
Post-procedure care is arranged prior to procedure date unless the case is an add-on. Performs and documents an appropriate and complete post-procedure assessment. Gives a complete and concise report to the department receiving the patient post procedure. Discharge instructions and patient/family education are provided according to Radiology policy.
Performs daily equipment drug and quality assurance checks as required by Radiology policy. Documentation is performed accordingly. Reports equipment failures and assures repairs are performed; Arranges for replacement of expired or used supplies.
Participates in the development implementation and evaluation of Performance Improvement and Research activities.
Participates in quality improvement initiatives. Recognizes cost reduction opportunities.
Supports unit and organization's goals.
Exemplifies SPIRIT values actively participates in Patient Safety Standards and tasks.
Serves as a preceptor or mentor as unit needs delegate.
Participates in educational programs.

Wisconsin Community Services (WCS) is excited to announce openings for Youth Treatment Specialists in Jefferson County. This position works in a therapeutic milieu environment serving youth at a State Certified Youth Crisis Stabilization Facility (YCSF) serving male, female and gender non-conforming youth, ages 8-17, supporting youth through a mental health crisis that has resulted in a youth needing a safe space to reside for up to 30 days. The Youth Treatment Specialist 3 rd shift works overnight ensuring all youth and staff are safe and following nighttime procedures. This can include tasks such as completing bed checks, monitoring youth on suicide protocol, following sleep hygiene and bedwetting protocols, waking youth, and coaching them to complete activities of daily living, administering medication teaching skills. Other tasks such as completing building tasks such as cleaning, laundry, and inventory, preparing meals, putting together educational materials, and other programming material to prepare for the days schedule.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
Perform third shift room checks verifying the status of each youth, ensuring youth are asleep, not distressed and are safe.
Follow clinical recommendations for safety such as supervising suicide protocols and safety plans.
Serve as a positive role model and work alongside a Lead Youth Treatment Specialist in the milieu supporting therapeutic interactions by coaching skill use throughout morning activities, modeling appropriate behavior, teaching, and reinforcing use and generalization of skills through a token economy system.
Use evidence-based best practices for youth with mental health, substance use and life needs. This includes Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), trauma informed care, motivational interviewing, youth centered, and culturally reverent approaches while celebrating youth's development and identity.
Calmly and responsibly respond during crisis situations and intervene to de-escalate utilizing Principles of Stabilization and Control (POSC) for non-escalation, de-escalation, and possible physical intervention to maintain safety in the environment for youth and staff when preventing or responding to a crisis.
Attend mandatory meetings including but not limited to staff meetings, new employee and ongoing trainings, individual supervision, team meetings, and other clinical staffing as required.
Participate and meet the DHS34 clinical supervision requirements of one hour of supervision for every thirty hours of face-to-face contact.
Use motivation and engagement strategies to encourage youth involved in systems to participate in treatment programming and involvement in program activities.
Always provide active sight and sound supervision to youth and families with complex needs.
Report any observed youth behavior for risk to self and others or behavioral changes within the treatment milieu. Follow policies and procedures to communicate with supervisory and/or clinical staff regarding appropriate support as needed.
Interact with youth in a professional, positive, and therapeutic manner according to policy, procedure, training, and agency values.
Assist with inventory, building organization, food preparation, daily programming set up, including educational materials and medication administration.
Work closely as part of a team to maintain clear communication with other staff to ensure youth receive high quality and seamless care.
Observe and document youth participation in activities and interactions with others per program standards (youth logs and youth related reports) in an electronic database.
Complete building or structural functions as required, assisting with meal preparation, general building cleanliness, laundry, and organization.
Monitor and support youth in completing activities of daily living such as laundry, chores and health and hygiene standards.
Administer medication to youth following the CBRF medication administration required policies and procedures.
Assist youth with attending meetings, including daily phone calls, family visits and professional visits.
Maintain youth and family confidentiality within all written and verbal communications.
Adhere to State licensing requirements.

POSITION SUMMARY

REQUIRED CERTIFICATIONS, EDUCATION, AND EXPERIENCES
Master's degree in Psychology, Social Work, or related field from an accredited college or university.
Licensed to practice behavioral health services in the state where services are being delivered (LICSW or LMHC required).
ESSENTIAL FUNCTION
Acts as point of contact for administrative staff for discussion of treatment unit programs and problem resolution as needed.
Coordinates development and revision of policies and procedures for the identification, assessment, and provision of required clinical services for inmates housed in Secure Treatment Units.
Supervises the planning, development and implementation of treatment programs contracted to VitalCore.
Provides clinical and/or administrative supervision to staff of Behavioral Health Services within Secure Treatment Units.
Monitors efforts of Behavioral Health Services in Secure Treatment Units to ensure clinical services are being provided in a timely, professional manner.
Provides and assigns clinical on-call duties.
Provides direct clinical services including individual and group treatment, crisis intervention, as well as providing shadowing and mentor opportunities to front-line clinical staff.
Ensures treatment programs contracted are integrated and appropriately staffed.
Provides administrative support to behavioral health staff.
Coordinates with the facility's Behavioral Health Quality Improvement Program.
Attends training and meetings as required.
Maintain proficiency with all software required for the position, and more specifically, clinical documentation in the designated electronic health record system.

Must be a Licensed, Master's Level Behavioral Health Clinician who can administer assessments, make clinical decisions, provide Mental Health treatment, and hold any of the following licenses: LSW, LPC or equivalent. The Behavioral Health Professional co-leads group therapy, one on one therapy, and crisis therapy.
BEHAVIORAL HEALTH PROFESSIONAL ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) at The Foundation Schools employ appropriate behavioral strategies and techniques to promote social, emotional, and academic growth with the goal of improving the students' ability to access curriculum and be available for learning. BCBAs conduct students' Functional Behavioral Assessments (FBA), develop Behavior Intervention Plans (BIP) and provide input on the goals on student's Individual Education Plan (IEP) as well as monitor and analyze results. They mentor and provide training to other staff in the implementation of BIPs, positive behavior interventions and other behavioral strategies. BCBAs effectively manage student behavior through implementation of behavior management systems, school rules, policies, and procedures.

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS
Employ behavioral strategies and techniques to provide appropriate behavioral interventions to encourage students to be school ready
Ensure behavioral support service requirements are met to maintain 100% compliance with students' IEPs and requirements are rendered as prescribed on the IEP
Demonstrate knowledge of and the ability to adapt a variety of therapeutic interventions and behavior management practices to meet the needs of individual students; evaluate therapeutic effectiveness, document, and make modifications based on data, reflection and feedback
Conduct student functional behavioral assessments (FBAs)
Participate in the development and monitoring of students' IEPs, BIPs, and FBAs including completion of required documentation within set guidelines
Complete required related service notes and billing documentation accurately and within assigned deadlines
Provide behavioral supervision to assigned staff to help the staff understand the students' social, emotional, and academic profile; collaborate with these staff to develop and implement specialized interventions and incentive plans as needed
Demonstrate knowledge of special education laws and regulations including IDEA, FERPA, COMAR, and DCMR; monitor staff compliance with laws and regulations
Assist with the interviewing, hiring, supervision, coaching, progressive counseling, and termination process for assigned support staff; complete performance evaluations and individual goal creation and reviews for assigned staff
Provide staff training on behavior management procedures and program processes; maintain BCBA certification and conduct regularly scheduled training to ensure all staff have tools to assist students in displaying appropriate behaviors and to obtain or maintain their certifications
Demonstrate an understanding of how our students' disabilities impact their behavior and ability to learn; display knowledge of students' diagnoses and adapt intervention strategies accordingly to meet the requirements of the students' IEPs and BIPs
Ensure the expectations for learning and standards for classroom participation and behavior are followed; effectively manage student behavior through implementation of positive behavioral management systems, school rules, policies, and procedures, and model appropriate behavior for students during the school day; assist students with using strategies to decrease and avoid inappropriate behaviors
Proactively identify behaviors among all students that could lead to a crisis, an unsafe situation or disrupt the learning environment; use effective behavior management techniques to address these behaviors in order to limit the severity and length of disruptions
Develop Behavior Action Plans to address behaviors, communication and social skills deficits
Proactively provide supervision of students to ensure the safety and security of the school program at all times
Maintain student confidentiality in accordance with The Foundation Schools Confidentiality and Conflict of Interest Statement and student record confidentiality procedures
Demonstrate appropriate use of verbal de-escalation skills to manage student behaviors; utilize the behavior continuum in order to use or consider the use of the least restrictive behavioral interventions necessary; use effective, appropriate, and approved strategies during a crisis including the participation in seclusions, therapeutic holds, escorts, and student restraints when necessary; consistently, and appropriately utilize and model TACT 2 techniques or classroom behavior management strategies
Work with other therapists, teachers, school leaders, and other team members to determine the student and/or classroom needs and adjust interventions and practices to best meet those needs; work with team to develop interventions and/or incentive plans when appropriate
Actively participate in committees, meetings, supervision, and professional development activities

Master's degree in special education, behavior analysis or other related fields is required
BCBA certification required
Current Maryland Behavior Analyst License
