The positon is responsible for implementing behavior plans for all students assigned and tracking data for the Behavior Analyst to modify for interventions and IEP's. Certification in Crisis Prevention and Intervention (CPI) is also required. - Equivalency Provision: Certificate in a psychiatric technician or other similar mental health program from an institute of higher learning recognized by the Council for Higher Education Accreditation may substitute for one year of the required experience. - Additional Requirements: May require the ability to lift, move, or restrain K-12 students either with assistance and/or skilled techniques; may require a valid California driver's license and the availability of private transportation or the ability to obtain transportation between job sites.

ABA Behavior Interventionists / Technicians / RBT's Behavior Therapy Clinic, one of the most established agencies (25+ years) in the Los Angeles area is looking for experienced Behavior Interventionists to work with children with autism and related disorders . BCBA, BCaBA, and RBT supervision provided. Our interventionists assist in the application of behavioral programs that are based on the principles of Applied Behavior Analysis and specifically designed for each particular client. School based assignments involve supporting students through the school day with challenging behaviors. Assignments additionally involve working with the clients teaching play skills, social skills, language skills, attention skills, and self-help skills. The interventionist must integrate knowledge and capability to help clients manage their behaviors and must record daily progress in notes and on data collection forms. He or she will receive ongoing training and supervision and have regular communication with BCBA supervisors. Candidates require attention to detail both clinically and administratively.
