This position requires a RBT certification. Compensation: $26 - $35 per hour, depending on experience and education. Work Schedule: Mon-Fri, daytime hours, following the Corona-Norco Unified School District calendar (August - June). Minimum Education: High School Diploma and/or some college studies (preferred). Who Are We Looking For? We are seeking individuals with the patience and adaptability necessary to foster a nurturing learning environment and a strong desire to work with children and adolescents with behavioral challenges. Key Requirements Must be at least 18 years of age and authorized to work in the U.S. Driver's license and reliable transportation is a must. Physically fit enough to maintain an active role in the classroom and playground. Previous experience working with children. RBT Certification is required. Responsibilities Implement behavior intervention plans (BIPs) developed by a Board-Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) or Behavior Specialist, targeting specific behavioral goals outlined in students' Individualized Education Programs (IEPs). Provide direct support to students with behavioral challenges, delivering interventions and strategies outlined in their BIPs in various school settings (e.g., classroom, playground, cafeteria). Utilize positive behavior support techniques and reinforcement strategies to teach replacement behaviors, social skills, and coping strategies to students. Collect data on student behavior and progress, using behavior tracking systems and data collection tools to monitor effectiveness of interventions and make data-driven decisions Collaborate with school staff, including teachers, administrators, and support personnel, to create a cohesive support system for students with behavioral challenges. Communicate regularly with the BCBA/Behavior Specialist regarding student progress, behavior concerns, and updates on intervention implementation. Participate in team meetings and student support meetings as needed, to contribute to the development and review of behavior intervention plans and provide input on student progress. Maintain confidentiality of student information and adhere to ethical guidelines and professional standards in behavior intervention practice. Knowledge and Abilities Experience working with students with behavioral challenges, preferably in a school, home or clinical setting. Completion of training in behavior intervention techniques and strategies. Knowledge of behavioral principles and evidence-based interventions for behavior management. Strong interpersonal skills, with the ability to communicate effectively with students, parents, and colleagues. Ability to work collaboratively as part of a multidisciplinary team and take direction from supervising BCBA/Behavior Supervisor. Role Responsibilities (Here's what it takes) Provide 1:1 care directly with Clients during scheduled sessions under the supervision of a Board- Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA). Implement established behavioral treatment plans based on the science of applied behavior analysis (ABA) across skill levels, moderate to severe problem behaviors, and service delivery settings. Ensure that 100% of the scheduled direct services are provided without any scheduling interruptions. Maintain accurate and timely documentation of client progress, interventions, and outcomes. Collect data related to Client's progress during treatment sessions. Incorporate activities and games that are developmentally appropriate and engaging for the client in alignment with the treatment plan. Promote Client engagement to build their strengths in a natural and enjoyable manner. Consulting with case Supervisor on treatment plans, Client updates, and intervention strategies. Receiving and utilizing ongoing training, guidance, and support. Follow program procedures, administrative tasks, direct therapy skills, and other duties that are in line with our compliance requirements. Maintaining reliable communication to record scheduled appointments and return phone calls within 24 hours. Ensuring that the company's “zero tolerance policy” is understood, implemented, and reinforced in the region. Completing all duties, tasks, and/or special projects assigned by leaders and/or the business. Participating in team meetings, trainings, and professional development opportunities. Providing make up hours as an alternate care team member. Maintaining eligible transportation and current liability insurance (if applicable). Must Haves(Yes, we have needs!) High School Diploma or GED (minimum) Reliable Transportation Successfully complete Live Scan background check, employment verification and TB screening Be able to lift up to 30lbs.
