Assess, plan, organize, and participate in rehabilitative programs that improve mobility, relieve pain, increase strength, and decrease or prevent deformity of patients suffering from disease or injury.
Must be familiar with government regulations for PT practice in an outpatient setting and demonstrate an understanding of how these rules pertain to managing patient care, specifically for the OP Therapy Cap and Claims-Based Outcomes Reporting (i.e. G codes).
Flexibility in working in several clinical locations (i.e. hospital-based clinical setting and satellite clinics in the community)
*Tasks include:*
Administer manual exercises, massage and/or traction to help relieve pain, increase the patient's strength, and decrease or prevent deformity and crippling.
Discharge patient from physical therapy when goals or projected outcomes have been attained and provide for appropriate follow-up care or referrals.
Evaluate effects of treatment at various stages and adjust treatments to achieve maximum benefit.
Identify and document goals, anticipated progress and plans for reevaluation.
Inform the patient when diagnosis reveals findings outside their scope and refer to an appropriate practitioner.
Instruct patient and family in treatment procedures to be continued at home.
Plan, prepare and carry out individually designed programs of physical treatment to maintain, improve or restore physical functioning, alleviate pain and prevent physical dysfunction in patients.
Record prognosis, treatment, response, and progress in patient's chart or enter information into computer.

Summary of Responsibilities
A Behavioral Health Practitioner (BHP) works under the direction and supervision of a Clinical Manager, providing community-based behavioral health services to individuals with psychiatric illness, substance use issues and/or co-occurring disorders. The BHP must be open and willing to work with culturally and gender diverse groups and individuals to facilitate goals of self-efficacy. This position requires a high degree of self-initiative and motivation. The schedule is flexible, as determined by the person served' s needs and may include early morning, evening or weekend appointments. The position may involve services provided in the designated BHS clinic, driving to persons served homes or various locations within the community where services are provided (if services are offered on-site according to the program and funding source.) It may include telehealth services utilizing both audio and visual communication with individuals. BHPs provide individual, family and group counseling, crisis intervention, conflict resolution, initial assessments to determine level of care, treatment planning, case presentations, presenting psychoeducational information to individuals regarding diagnosis, symptoms, medications, relapse prevention and safety planning. The BHP provides services to both children and adults. The position also includes participating in multidisciplinary case conferences and supervision, treatment plan reviews, developing aftercare treatment and all required documentation utilizing Collaborative Documentation.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
•Primary focus is on providing comprehensive clinical services and therapy which includes biopsychosocial assessments, screening and placement for level of care, diagnosis, individual psychotherapy, group therapy, family therapy, brief interventions utilizing evidence-based care and tools and educational counseling services to a caseload of person's served consisting of adults and children.
•Community- based mental health services which includes services in the persons served home, school or community location in addition to office and telehealth clinical services.
•BHP Licensed Psychotherapists are expected to complete the Certificate of Professional Initiating Involuntary Examination form for any individual meeting Baker Act criteria in their presence.
•BHPs and mandatory providers are expected to adhere to all Florida mandatory reporting laws in addition to but not limited to child abuse and elderly abuse.
•Complete all required documentation utilizing Collaborative Documentation and all agency formats/standards
•Maintain on-going relationships with community agencies and function as a liaison with identified individuals/organizations
•Participate in community education/activities program presentations as required

Overview of the Position:

Summary/Objective:
As a team member, you will report to the Operations Coordinator and interact with senior and clinical management. Your primary responsibilities will be to assist the clinical staff with daily scheduling and coordinating patient needs. This will include the unique opportunity to facilitate 12-step lectures and group discussions, providing a platform for significant personal growth and development. You will also be directly involved in monitoring and mentoring the patients, maintaining files, and facilitating off-facility activities. In addition, you will play a crucial role in supporting the admission/intake process and contributing to overall patient care, ensuring that our patients receive the best possible support. To effectively fulfill this role, you must thoroughly know Hanley's staff, programs, and properties.
Duties & Responsibilities:
Act as a liaison between patients and staff and relay pertinent information, including observations, to appropriate Clinical Staff.
Supervise daily patient operations and always act sensitive to their needs and best interests.
Provide thorough, accurate, and timely documentation of patient services.
Assist patients with transportation needs.
Communicate and set limits with culturally diverse patients.
Maintain the safety of the patients and the security of the facility.
Participate in the intake and discharge process of patients.
Administration of drug screens.
Instruct recovery-based lectures as assigned.
Protect patient confidentiality following Hanley Policy.
Maintain clear work-life separation.
Uphold all Hanley Policies and Procedures.
Maintain patient/potential patient confidentiality following Hanley Policy.
Education/Experience/Qualifications:
High School Diploma or equivalent required.
Certification as a behavioral health technician or equivalent is preferred.
Experience in a helping profession preferred.
Computer literate and familiar with Microsoft products and network
components.
If in recovery, one (1) year of continuous sobriety is required.
Must produce and maintain a valid driver's license and pass MVR requirements per policy.

Major Responsibilities:

Provide safe on-site supervision of clients
Assist clients with daily living (showers, hygiene, and education) and on unit routine
Individual and group discussion
Address problem behavior as needed through verbal de-escalation techniques
Participate in therapeutic recreational activities
Record all aspects of observations of clients behaviors
Keep neat, written logs on clients activities
Assist in complete admission and discharge paperwork
Attend clinical and staff meetings
May provide transport to clients as necessary
Perform other duties as assigned by senior management
Qualifications:

Implement Behavior Intervention Plans (BIPs): Follow the behavior intervention plans designed by BCBAs to address specific behavioral goals and objectives for each client.
Data Collection: Accurately collect and record data on client behaviors and responses during therapy sessions, ensuring data integrity and consistency.
Progress Monitoring: Collaborate with the supervising BCBAs to track and report client progress towards behavioral goals and adjust intervention plans as needed.
Behavior Reduction Techniques: Utilize approved behavior reduction techniques and strategies as outlined in the behavior intervention plan to address challenging behaviors.
Skill Acquisition: Assist clients in acquiring and developing functional skills, communication abilities, and appropriate social behaviors.
Parent/Caregiver Training: Provide training and support to parents/caregivers on implementing behavior intervention techniques and strategies in the home environment.
Professionalism: Adhere to ethical guidelines and professional standards in behavior analysis while maintaining client confidentiality.
Documentation: Complete required paperwork, progress reports, and session notes.
Communication: Maintain open communication with the BCBAs, parents/caregivers, and other team members involved in the client's treatment.
Qualifications
Passion for working with children and helping others.
High School Diploma or GED is required.
Must meet all BACB eligibility requirements to obtain RBT certification.
Ability to pass the RBT certification exam within the training period.
Must obtain and maintain RBT certification through the BACB.
Strong written and verbal communication skills.
Excellent time management and interpersonal skills.
Physical requirements
Physical capacity to move quickly and respond to potentially aggressive behavior and
de-escalate situations with clients.
Prolonged periods of standing, walking, kneeling, bending, squatting, running and/or

Must be able to move and lift up to 50 pounds to assist with client positioning or mobility.
