RESPONSIBILITIES:

Our center-based clinical program implements Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) with children and adolescents with Autism Spectrum Disorders, learning disabilities, and other social, language and cognitive deficits.
The Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) operates within the Clinical Department and is responsible for administering Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) under the direction of the Clinical Assistants, Clinic Supervisors and/or Directors, and the Board-Certified Behavior Analysts (BCBAs).

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to the following:
Implementing ABA therapy with clients varying in functional and developmental levels, and degrees of aggressions.
Completing 1:1 sessions, playdates, group shadowing and occasional 1:2 sessions.
Adherence of program changes, datasheet changes, program guides and notes, and behavior protocols.
Portrayal of a calm and professional demeanor throughout therapy sessions.
Maintaining organized and structed therapy sessions.
Implementing sensory requirements for each client.
Collecting and recording accurate data and completing graphs and program guides after each session.
Writing a clear and concise summary of therapy sessions.
Schedule:
Hours of Operation: Monday 9:00am-6:00pm, Tuesday-Thursday 8:45am-6:00pm, Friday 8:45am-5:00pm.
Full Time Openings (36-40 Hours/Week)
Part Time Openings (20-35 Hours/Week)
Wage: $17.50 - $19.00/hour
Requirements
Position Preferences:
Degree or in pursuit of a degree in a related field (Psychology, Education, Special Education, Child Development, or Speech).
Prior ABA experience and/or childcare experience.
Possession of excellent written and spoken communication skills.
Can demonstrate excellent interpersonal skills.
Can demonstrate a high level of organization and independence.
