The BehavioralTechnician will provide clinical skills instruction and behavior reduction protocols based upon the principles of Applied Behavior Analysis to children with Autism and related developmental disabilities in the home, community, and school settings. The BehavioralTechnician will collect data on programs, assist with parent training, and assist the Behavior Analyst, Senior Therapist, and Behavior Therapist with clinical assessments as needed.

• Provide direct client care in 1:1 and group settings utilizing a combination of intensive teaching and natural environment training arrangements
• Follow the prescribed behavioral skill acquisition and behavior reduction protocols
• Collect, record, and summarize data on observable client behavior
• Utilize safe & appropriate handling procedures when working with clients
• Assist BCBA Senior Therapist, and/or Behavior Therapist with skill acquisition and behavior reduction assessments
• Assist in preparing client materials as instructed
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work and therapy environment
• Collaborate with treatment team including client, parents and caregivers, outside professionals, BCBA, Senior Therapist, and co-workers
Knowledge/Skills/Abilities:
• Commitment to maintain client confidentiality and adhere to HIPAA laws
• Ability to accept constructive feedback and develop knowledge and skill sets accordingly
• Effective time management skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks at one time
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to develop and maintain professional relationships with clients, co-workers, supervisors, and community members
• Commitment to ongoing training and development as it relates to clinical skills, professional development, ethics and technology in order to perform job responsibilities to required standards
Education and Experience:
• Required: High School Diploma and must receive/ have 40 hours of trainning in Applied Behavior Analysis
• Preferred: Bachelor's degree in Psychology, Education, Applied Behavior Analysis, Speech and Hearing Services, Registered BehaviorTechnician, or related field and 1,000 hours of supervised experience with children with a diagnosis of ASD

* If you work full-time, you can earn up to 15 days of paid time off (PTO) after 90 days of employment.

Specifics to This Position
* Working with kids 18mo-6yrs old with autism in their homes, in one of our centers, or daycares (based on client needs).
* Education requirements: High School Diploma or Equivalent.
* Daily access to reliable transportation.
* Schedule requirements:
* Part-Time hours (10-29hrs/week)
* Hours of Operation: 7a-8p Monday-Friday (optional weekends)
* Earn starting pay at $16/hr and up based on ABA experience/training.
What You Have
* Meet the minimum age requirement of 18 (on or before the first day of employment).
* Eligibility to work in the United States.
* Availability to work a consistent weekly schedule: mornings, afternoons, and/or evenings.
* The ability to pass a background check.
* Not to mention, it's a plus if you:
* Are bi-lingual, with English/Spanish fluency.
* Studied, majored, or minored in psychology, education, special education, childcare, behavioral health, health science, or a related field.
* Have experience working with children, whether as a babysitter, nanny, tutor, teacher, coach, camp counselor, or some other form of childcare.
What You'll Be Doing
* Gaining training and skills to support a career in behavior analysis, behavioral health, teaching, occupational therapy, speech-language pathology, counseling, mental health, and parenting.
* Creating lasting, positive change for children and their families.
Physical requirements vary and are based on specific client assignments. You may be asked to engage in any of the following: push, pull, and lift up to 35 pounds and move quickly, according to client needs. It is necessary to be able to sit on the floor, stoop, stand, walk, and run.
