Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site role for our clinic location in Forest Park. The BCBA will manage a caseload of 4-7 clients, ages 2-7, receiving either focused or comprehensive models of care in a clinic setting. Typical hours are Monday-Friday, 8:00 am-4:30 pm.
In addition to client work, this role includes opportunities for professional growth by supporting the supervision of approximately 8 graduate students per semester in collaboration with the Clinic Director and Regional Director.
Key Responsibilities
Conduct assessments (e.g., FBAs, VB-MAPP, ABLLS) and develop individualized treatment plans.
Provide direct oversight, training, and ongoing supervision to RBTs and graduate students.
Monitor client progress, adjust treatment plans, and ensure clinical quality and compliance.
Collaborate with families, caregivers, and clinical team members to support treatment goals.
Maintain accurate documentation in accordance with ethical and professional standards.
Contribute to a positive, team-oriented clinic culture that values sustainability and growth.
Qualifications
Illinois Behavior Analyst License (LBA) (required).
Current BCBA certification in good standing (required).
Master's degree in Behavior Analysis or related field (required).
2-4 years of BCBA experience preferred, but not required.
Strong communication, leadership, and organizational skills.

Position Overview
The Division of Developmental Disabilities is seeking to hire a Mental Health Technician Trainee at the Shapiro Center located in Kankakee, Illinois. The incumbent will, for a period of time from six and not to exceed twelve months, receives training and instruction and performs entry level, routine personal care services, educational, social, vocational and therapeutic activities in the treatment and habilitation of intellectually disabled individuals at Shapiro Center. Attends formal classes for instruction in routine nursing practices and techniques to gain basic understanding in nature, cause, treatment and habilitation of intellectual disabilities. Ensures compliance with Illinois Department of Public Health requirements when performing duties.
Essential Functions
For a period from six (6) and not to exceed twelve (12) months, receives training and instruction and performs entry level, routine personal care services, educational, social, vocational and therapeutic activities in the treatment and habilitation of intellectually disabled individuals at Shapiro Center.
Receives training in the Interdisciplinary Team process and assists under direct observation, in the implementation of the active treatment/daily activity schedule on the programmatic unit.
Through direct observation, achieves familiarity with each individual's sensory, medical and physical condition.
Maintains a safe, clean, and orderly unit by performing general housekeeping tasks, such as spot mopping, cleaning spills, wiping tables and making of beds and lifting up 50 pounds.
Performs other duties as required or assigned which are reasonably within the scope of the duties enumerated above.
Minimum Qualifications
Requires knowledge, skill, and mental development equivalent to completion of high school.

Position Overview
The Division of Developmental Disabilities is seeking to hire a Mental Health Technician IV for the Ludeman Developmental Center located in Park Forest, Illinois to serve as a responsible House Manager on assigned homes on an assigned shift. Supervises and participates in all required personal services for individuals with developmental disabilities. Participates in all scheduled /unscheduled routine, follow-up, emergency appointments within and outside of Ludeman Developmental Center to enhance the quality of life for all individuals served ensuring compliance with center mandated policies and procedures. Provides direction to ensure the active treatment is provided for all individuals on a continuous basis and treatment plans are correct and consistent with each individuals' habilitation/treatment plan/schedule.
Essential Functions
Serves as a responsible House Manager on assigned homes on an assigned shift.
Schedules all breaks and lunches for all assigned staff on an assigned shift.
Serves as a working supervisor.
As a House Manager, on a single shift within the home, participates in all scheduled /unscheduled routine, follow-up, emergency appointments within and outside of the Ludeman Developmental Center to enhance the quality of life for all individuals served ensuring compliance with center mandated policies and procedures.
Conducts In-Service Training to lower-level technicians.
Completes all mandatory job trainings, Computer Based Learning, and mandatory in-services training to enhance career and personal development.
Performs other duties as required or assigned which are reasonably within the scope of the duties enumerated above.
Minimum Qualifications
Requires knowledge, skill and mental development equivalent to completion of high school.
