What You Will Do
Kids First is looking for an BehaviorTechnician (if you're not yet certified, we will help you get there) to join our growing team. As a Registered BehaviorTechnician, you will:
Work closely with a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) to implement individualized behavior reduction and skill acquisition treatment plans.
Provide 1-on-1 in-home ABA therapy to assigned clients
Be tasked with reporting to the client's home for therapy sessions and ensuring that the client is always in a safe and positive environment.
Ensure client satisfaction by providing the highest quality of care and support possible.
Log daily observations of the client, collecting and reporting critical data to help in monitoring each client's progress.

You Will:
Develop and implement behavior intervention plans for children and adolescents with autism spectrum or related neurodevelopmental disorders.
Use assessment data, including Functional Behavioral Assessment utilizing direct and indirect measures of behavior to identify target behaviors for intervention, develop behavioral plans, and track progress towards established goals
Use naturalistic approaches of Applied Behavioral Analysis (ABA) to evaluate, develop treatment plans, and implement 1:1 therapy for toddlers through young adults on the autism spectrum and related neurodevelopmental conditions.
Run social skills groups using evidenced based, manualized interventions (e.g., PEERS , Children's Friendship Training).
Provide direct services in the clinic, community, child's home, and school.
Use assessment data to define target behaviors, develop behavioral plans, and track progress towards established goals.
Analyze and improve behavior plans at regular intervals to ensure that patients and families achieve desired results.
Collaborate with our clinical colleagues, including receiving and providing consultation, to support team-based care within our practice. Ensure all clinical documentation requirements are met.
You Have:
Master's degree in psychology, behavior analysis, education, or related field required. Master's degree in early childhood or special education preferred.
Minimum of 2 years' experience as a BCBA in either clinical, special education or early intervention settings.
Certification and licensure: BCBA certification from BACB and LBA from New York State required.
Training in naturalistic forms of Applied Behavioral Analysis (ABA) required.
Training or clinical experience in one or more of the following required: Incidental Teaching (IT), Natural Environmental Training (NET), Early Start Denver Model (ESDM), SCERTS, JASPER, Project ImPACT, or Pivotal Response Training (PRT).
