Essential Job Functions: To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to satisfactorily perform each essential function listed below: •Works with supervisors in the development, implementation, maintenance, and generalization of behavioral change oMaintains the use of least restrictive treatment guidelines in the implementation of Behavioral Techniques oDirects program participant contact in effecting behavioral change, primarily in the area of activities of daily living, behavior management and social skills •Provides Behavioral Therapy and Active Treatment programming in the residence job site, and within the community on an individual or group basis oSubmits weekly logs indicating objectives, strategies, and results obtained oConsults with staff, insurance providers, lawyers, service providers post-discharge, and family on treatment recommendations and progress oParticipates in family education and therapy as needed •Participates in treatment planning with the trans-disciplinary team and attends pre-admission meetings as requested. Entry Level Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in behavioral sciences or C.R.C. certification preferred. Three years' experience in addiction or mental health agency required. One year's experience in a supervisory position required. Verbal or written communication skills required. Computer skills preferred.
Must be CRRA (Certified Recovery Residence Administrator) certified or pursuing CCRA certification.
Must be able to walk within the facility and on the grounds of the facility for approximately 1 mile per every 8-hour shift.

On call Behavioral Health Technicians and Recovery Support Specialist call outs.
Supervise/Coordinate non-clinical patients' outings with approval from Executive Director.
Work closely with Lead BehavioralTechnician; supervise and direct clinical support team through Lead BehavioralTechnician on all shifts.
Must maintain a professional demeanor and appearance, must not appear impaired or disoriented, but rather must present coherent and articulate speech, kept appearance, alert, oriented, and responsive to patients' needs and concerns.
Must be able to work in a constant state of alertness to perform the job safely.

Provide regular parent/caretaker training
Maintain knowledge of different programs and certifications through CEU events.

Support kiddos and RBTs with a minimum of 28 impact weekly hours
Supervisory Responsibilities
Supervise RBTs who are working towards their BCBA certification
Conduct weekly competencies for newly hired RBTs and monthly competencies for RBTs who have been with the company longer than 1 month.

Provide initial corrective feedback to RBTs, when needed, as part of progressive disciplinary action procedures.

For all RBT training and administrative time, you will receive $14 for each non-billable hour worked.

This is a direct service position that works one-on-one with children who have special needs. ABA Clinicians focus on increasing communication, social, and verbal behavior skills, as well as decreasing problem behavior, using the science of Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA). This position reports to the Clinical and Administrative Leadership at the Clinic. This is a non-exempt position under the Fair Labor Standards Act (FLSA).
Essential Daily Duties
These duties should be able to be completed with or without reasonable ADA accommodations.
Preparing for client session including reviewing previous notes/documents
Run skill acquisition programs (including Discrete Trial Instruction and Natural Environment Teaching) and teach a variety of skills using ABA principles
Observe and track behaviors using a variety of data collection methods
Follow individualized behavior plans, including intervening on problem behavior as outlined in beneficiary's plan
Complete end of session tasks not limited to, rendering time worked, completing ABA session documentation
Learn and use assistive technology and other specialized equipment
Attend and participate in clinic/company meetings, trainings, case reviews, etc.
Assist with parent trainings by modeling ABA techniques

Shining Stars ABA is growing!
We are looking for an experienced BCBA to join our team. This position would be at our Baymeadows location on the southside of Jacksonville or our Jacksonville Beach location. This will predominantly be a clinic based position. However, there may be the need for in-home parent training and short term school support, as necessary, for individual client progress.
This is a full time salaried position.
We currently have two locations in the Jacksonville area but are still a small company focused on both family and employee satisfaction. We want the best outcomes for our families while providing as much support for our BCBA's and RBT's. We do 10% supervision for both the RBT's and kiddos. In order to do this we have smaller case loads for our BCBA's with 200 clients hours being our typical case load. This allows you to support the RBT's more with increased time and attention while in supervision and during your programming time to focus on your clients.
Salary is dependent on experience. Additionally, there is the potential for monthly and yearly bonuses.
Billable hour bonus direct hours is inversely proportional to the amount of client hours you typically have. We like to start with smaller case loads to build you up to a manageable amount of clients hours without overloading you.
No weekends. The clinic is open from 7:30am-5:30pm and you typically work an 8 hour day within those times but we are flexible with schedules and hours.
Duties will include:
Conduct client intakes and write up initial treatment plans.
Administer age appropriate assessments to determine clinical recommendations for each client.
Complete treatment plan updates as required by insurance.
Program for each assigned client, to include modifications to current programs and developing individualized interventions/ programs for clients on a consistent basis.
Provide high quality supervision for both clients, behaviortechnicians and RBTs.
Provide direct services to clients.
Collaborate with other professionals regarding client progress.
Perform opening/closing clinical duties, as needed.
The ideal candidate, in addition to being a clinically strong BCBA, will be a team player with strong management skills and the ability to work collaboratively across the clinic.

We're seeking talented, full time Board Certified Behavior Analyst to join our school-based services team in the Jacksonville, FL area.
Professional License Requirements:
Applicants are required to have the following, legally mandated certifications. Applicants without these requirements will not be considered.
Hold an active certification as a BCBA through Behavior Analyst Certification Board (BACB)
What to expect from this role:
Experience working in schools or with children is a plus but not required.
Provide consultation and intervention regarding behavior management, effective education and assessment of behavioral needs of students with and without disabilities
Conduct functional behavioral assessments and design, implement and monitor behavior intervention plans and evaluate accordingly; Develop crisis intervention plans when needed
Maintain appropriate records
Serve as liaison between students receiving special education services and outside providers, private psychiatrists, school staff, psychologists and community agencies
Follow students in alternative placements; facilitate transition during referral and reintegration phases
Consult with parents/guardians and work in coordination with school personnel
Ability to effectively communicate with teachers, administrators, and parents
Ensure all services are performed in accordance with state laws and regulations
Perform other BCBA duties/responsibilities required by the Program and within the scope of licensure and/or certification

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to sit, stand, walk, talk, hear, and reach with hands and arms.
The employee must have the ability to move freely throughout school facilities, including classrooms, hallways, playgrounds, and therapy spaces.
The position frequently involves bending, kneeling, crouching, and assisting students at their physical level (e.g., floor activities or adaptive seating).
The employee may be required to lift, carry, push, or pull materials and equipment weighing up to 25 pounds and occasionally assist students with mobility or transfers.
Vision and hearing abilities must be sufficient to observe student behavior, read printed materials and digital screens, and communicate effectively.
The employee must be able to maintain visual and auditory attention to ensure student safety and engagement throughout the school day.
Work is typically performed in a school environment with moderate noise levels and frequent movement between classrooms or buildings.
The employee may occasionally be exposed to body fluids or communicable diseases while performing job duties and must follow district and company safety protocols.
