The goal of Wellspring's Crisis Stabilization Program is to assist adults who are experiencing an acute psychiatric episode. Job Summary: The BehaviorTechnician will apply empirically based behavioral principles to all clients that the BehaviorTechnician works with. The BehaviorTechnician functions as an integral part of the treatment team and ensures that all necessary documentation is completed in a timely manner in order to benefits the clients that the BehaviorTechnician works with. This is an hourly position.
Responsibilities/essential functions: The person in this position must be able to perform the following essential job functions with or without reasonable accommodation.

2. Implements Individualized Treatment Plans (ITPs) under the direction of the behavior analysts/consultants

11. Consistently implements behavior plans to reduce client's socially inappropriate behavior and promote appropriate social behaviors
12. Effectively responds to and manages crisis situations which may include client physical aggression and property destruction
13. Completes daily paperwork and data collection notes in a detailed, accurate, consistent in a timely manner
14. Follows Adapt for Life and Adaptive Community Support Services policies and procedures, including adhering to confidentiality and HIPAA regulations
15. Submit all notes, progress reports, billing and other necessary documentation on time
16. Maintains professional growth and development through seminars, workshops, and professional affiliations to keep abreast of latest trends in field of expertise

Job Description
This position is for a hands-on, direct care classroom technician working with preschoolers with Autism and overlapping health issues. Each technician cares for 3 children at a time, under the guidance and supervision of a lead technician, nurses, and therapists. We keep our ratios low to allow extra attention for each child. As a full-time technician, you will work Monday through Friday 8 AM-4:30 PM or 8:30 AM-5 PM; we are closed on weekends and major holidays. You will also accrue Paid Time Off for vacations, appointments, etc. Each of our classrooms have a specific focus or theme. Classrooms you may be covering will include: Art, STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, & Math), Fine Motor, Gross Motor, Sensory, Pretend Play, Music, and Circle Time. Through these themed classrooms, we are getting our friends ready for kindergarten!

Marty's Orchid House is a non-profit 501(c)(3) therapeutic and medical day center for preschoolers with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD), developmental delays, and overlapping health conditions. Our program is very therapy-based, with a 3:1 classroom ratio. The Orchid House Technician must have extensive patience with children with special needs, use positive reinforcement to reward positive behaviors, have the ability to ignore negative behaviors, and remain consistent in classroom routines under the direction of the Lead Technician & therapists. You will be trained extensively on how to implement therapeutic techniques in the classroom.
Roles & Responsibilities
The Orchid House Technician (OHT) is a paraprofessional who works in the classroom directly with children in the medical and therapeutic day center setting. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to, the following:
Report to your supervisors to obtain classroom & child assignment.
Provide hands-on direct care to a small group of preschoolers, including classroom activities, toileting, and mealtimes.
Conduct follow-through therapies in the classrooms to help each child reach developmental goals, under the direction of the Therapist(s).
Basic charting on an iPad through our parent communication app.
Light cleaning of the facility after activities, meals, and at closing time.

Child-Care, experience with Autism, and/or mental health experience recommended.
Attendance is of utmost importance-must have reliable transportation, child-care, and excellent adherence to the schedule. Frequent call-ins will not be compatible with this position.

Responsibilities of a BehaviorTechnician:
Perform skilled therapeutic services as directed by supervising Behavior Analyst or Assistant Behavior Analyst. Including:
Contribute observations and information to plans of care for ABA Therapy.
Make progress with patients directly and indirectly through treatment of Applied Behavioral Analysis.
Maintain all necessary client documentation, confidentiality, and personal medical records for the Employer to comply with state regulations, service contracts, and confidentiality.
As directed by the supervisor, administer standardized assessments that identify deficits related to behavior and submit information to the supervisor for interpretation.
Collect data for reassessment and re-evaluation of progress that leads to discharge for all goals met.
Celebrate patient success such that they are an inspiration for others!
Educate the public on how Behavior Therapy helps, such that the community sees help is available and possible.

BehaviorTechnician Qualifications:

QUALIFICATIONS
Required:
? High School Diploma or G.E.D., and
? Registered BehaviorTechnician (RBT) certification or ability to obtain RBT certification within three months of gaining employment.

Job Summary:
The Registered BehaviorTechnician (RBT), under the direct supervision of a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) assists in the development and implementation of behavior intervention programs for students with challenging behavioral needs at various sites throughout the district, monitors and collects data on behavior and documents progress, and collaborates with school staff to coach and implement behavior interventions.
Essential Functions, Duties and Responsibilities:
? Assist with the creation, implementation, and monitoring of Behavior Intervention Plans (BIPs)
and skill acquisition programs under the close, ongoing supervision of a BCBA.
? Ability to read and identify essential components of a written Behavior Intervention Plan and
Individualized Behavior Program as it relates to behavior areas in need.
? Provide modeling and training to teachers and paraprofessionals on how to implement
Behavior Plans by identifying/describing behavior functions and appropriate reactive strategies
for staff to use, modeling scenarios across environments, and assist staff in implementing
reactive procedures for problem behavior.
? Effectively communicate with team members.
? Assist BCBA with observations and data collection assignments.
? Assist BCBA in analyzing and interpreting data.
? Travel to multiple sites within the district as necessary.
? Assist in the development of reinforcement identification procedures.
? Additional related tasks as assigned by the BCBA or DoSE.
