*Position Summary:*
The Board-Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) plays a crucial role in delivering high-quality behavioral services to the individuals supported by Beacon Specialized Living. This role is dedicated to enhancing the quality of life for individuals by promoting positive behaviors and reducing challenging behaviors and involves conducting comprehensive functional behavior assessments, developing individualized treatment plans, and implementing evidence-based interventions to improve client outcomes. The BCBA collaborates closely with an intra-disciplinary team of professionals, families, and external stakeholders to ensure effective and consistent implementation of behavior support plans.
*Supervisory Responsibilities:*
Supervises Registered BehaviorTechnicians as determined by market need.
*Primary Responsibilities:*
* Always be compliant with all company and regulatory policies and procedures.
* Coordinates, creates, monitors clients' behavior treatment plans and evaluates their effectiveness through data collection and analysis.
* Responds to crisis situations.
* Supports and debriefs staff and individuals following incidents.
* Evaluates causes and implements changes strategies when adverse incidents occur.
* Participates in clinical/behavioral consultation meetings with residential managers and direct service providers.
* Participate in treatment team meetings and case reviews as needed.
* Maintains clinical records and provides written Positive Behavioral Support Plans (PBSP), Functional Behavioral Assessments (FBA), and clinical meeting summaries.
* Reviews and report on monthly data sets to monitor individual progress.
* Conduct assessments.
* Provides face to face clinical services to BSLS clients according to the scope(s) of practice assigned.
* Performs On-Call as required.
*Education and Qualifications:*
* Master's degree in Psychology, Social Work, Behavioral Analysis, or a related field.
* Valid BCBA certification.
* Minimum of 1-2 years of clinical experience, may include practicum and internship experience.
* Experience with both mentally ill and intellectually disabled adult populations is preferred.
* Experience with complex, high intense/high frequency behaviors is required.
* Approved by the state, federal, and local governmental entities to work within BSLS programs.
* Maintains own mandatory training and certification requirements.
* Required experience with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
* Must possess a valid Driver's License.
* Must pass a criminal background check.
* Proficient in speaking, reading and writing the English language required.

• Implements and models intervention techniques for members of the treatment team to stabilize the child or adolescent, lending support for family efforts to stabilize the child or adolescent, by transferring appropriate techniques and skills, and to promote developmentally and/or age-appropriate behavior. (i.e. the parent, grandparent, care givers, teachers, Personal Care Aide) for the transfer of skills which allows for successful discharge of services.
• Collaborates with all members of the treatment team and professionals working in the home or other community settings, including the family.

• Maintains contact with case specific treatment team.

You will work in traditional as well as non-traditional settings (i.e., home, school, day care, community, etc.) to meet the needs of the child.
You will effectively document daily progress and relay information to team members, supervisors, and other staff as required.
You will ensure all required documentation is completed accurately and submitted in a timely manner.
You will participate in individual and/or group supervision as required.
Hours of Work
Schedule and hours are determined by client needs. Services are provided in area schools, client homes, and community settings as indicated.

The Behavioral Health Technician position is the heart of our services and offers an opportunity to have a large positive impact on a child's life. BHT providers work directly with children to implement their treatment plan within their classrooms, their homes and in the community - wherever they need the therapeutic support.
As a BHT, you will have the opportunity to create a bond with a child who needs your expertise and skills to improve their quality of life. You will work directly under the supervision of a Behavior Specialist who will provide you with training and on-going support. You will also have the opportunity to provide insights and suggestions to the Behavior Specialist to help improve the client's treatment. Our BHT providers are supported throughout their employment and valued as important members of our treatment team.

PHYSICAL DEMANDS

The Behavioral Health Technician position is the heart of our services and offers an opportunity to have a large positive impact on a child's life. BHT providers work directly with children to implement their treatment plan within their classrooms, their homes and in the community - wherever they need the therapeutic support.
As a BHT, you will have the opportunity to create a bond with a child who needs your expertise and skills to improve their quality of life. You will work directly under the supervision of a Behavior Specialist who will provide you with training and on-going support. You will also have the opportunity to provide insights and suggestions to the Behavior Specialist to help improve the client's treatment. Our BHT providers are supported throughout their employment and valued as important members of our treatment team.
This position is paid hourly. The location of the services will depend upon the case(s) assigned to the BHT. We work to the best of our ability with our BHT team members to assign them to meaningful cases, close to their home location, and with the number of hours per week desired (up to 40). We routinely need staff who are available to work with a single child for 25 or more hours each week; many of our clients need BHT staff year-round, however, the assigned hours may decrease during the summer months.
JOB DUTIES:
Work 1:1 with a client in either a school or home setting.
Implement the authorized treatment plan with a single identified client.
Ensure that training and supervision is received according to IBHS regulations.
SCHEDULE:
Monday to Friday, no weekends!
Location: Marshall Street Elementary School
Hours: Based on approved authorization and client needs.
COMPENSATION:
$22.00 to $25.00 hourly based on credentials.
On-going paid training at $20.00-$22.00 hourly.
Paid Registered BehaviorTechnician training (40 hours).
Paid State Mandated BHT pre-service training (30 hours).
Assistance obtaining Child Abuse clearance, FBI fingerprint, PA Criminal Background and pre-employment physical examination costs.
