Responsibilities Who We Are: The Midtown Center Ft. Worth is an active member of the treatment team, providing continuous patient care, supervision, interaction and role-modeling to patients. This is a generic position (working with either adults or adolescents). Other duties include organizing patient activities, filing, charting, calculating point sheets and levels, driving vans, and completing schedules. All program therapist work under the direction of the Program Director and/or Assistant Program Director. This is not a remote position.
The Midtown Center Ft. Worth is an outpatient clinic serving Adults Only (18+ years). We are a specialized day treatment center meeting the emotional and behavioral needs of children and adolescents. We offer Partial Hospitalization and Intensive Outpatient Programs in a safe and supportive environment for youth whose emotional and behavioral problems are interfering with their ability to function effectively at home, at school, and in the community. Our team of dedicated psychiatrists, nurses, licensed therapists and teachers are experienced in working with children, adolescents and families. An affiliate of Millwood Hospital, the Excel Center of Ft. Worth offers a less restrictive treatment environment than an inpatient facility. This is not a remote position.

Qualifications
QUALIFICATIONS
1. Education: Master's Degree from an accredited college or university, in Social Work or a clinical related mental health field.
2. Experience: Program Therapist requires a minimum of one year of experience in a psychiatric health care facility, with direct experience in family and group therapies, crisis intervention, and treatment skills; must have strong clinical assessment skills.
3. License: Must possess a state license as an LMSW, LCSW, LPC Intern, LPC, LMFT-A or LMFT. Staff are encouraged to pursue LCSW licensure.
4. Additional Requirements: CPR Certification and CPI training in accordance with New Hire policy must be completed prior to providing direct patient care services. May be required to work flexible hours and overtime.

GENERAL DESCRIPTION:

Metrocare programs focus on the issues that matter most in the lives of the children, families and adults we serve.
The Registered BehaviorTechnician is responsible for the implementation of Applied Behavior Analytic (ABA) programming goals with children with Autism in a clinic-based environment or in-home environment, as assigned. The primary skill domains of clinical support for individuals served are functional communication training, socialization, and addressing challenging behaviors.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: (Other duties may be assigned.)
Collaborate to develop target goals with the Board-Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA), parent/caregivers, and other members of the clinical team.
Implement an instructional, therapeutic, or skill development program for assigned individuals served in a 1:1, 1:2, or group-format.
Plan and use appropriate instructional and learning strategies, activities, and materials.
Participate in staff and treatment team meetings on a regular basis or as assigned
Conduct ongoing assessments of individuals served achievement through formal and informal testing at the directive of the clinical supervisor(s)
Manage the behavior of individuals served and administer appropriate interventions according to the individualized treatment plan
Document interactions and session summaries within electronic health record
Communicate effectively with parents and/or routine caregivers prior to and following sessions
Assist in maintaining an organized, clinical environment for individuals served and fellow team members
Responsible to track supervision hours to ensure maintenance of their RBT credential.
Deliver a minimum of 30 hours of direct intervention service per week
Other duties may be assigned as needed

Department Summary
Drawing on UNT's trail blazing heritage as the first graduate program in the nation to be accredited by the Association for Behavior Analysis, and housed in UNT's College of Public Affairs and Health Services, the UNT Kristin Farmer Autism Center (KFAC) provides clinical services to support learning, development, community participation, and quality of life of individuals on the autism spectrum. In addition to taking excellent care of children with autism and their families, KFAC is equally committed to helping young professionals build careers in autism (incl. UNT students from many academic departments and programs), and conducting research to help scale evidence-based practices in community settings.
Position Overview
The UNT Kristin Farmer Autism Center (KFAC) is seeking a full-time BehaviorTechnician to join our dedicated team in providing exceptional clinical services to young children on the autism spectrum. The primary responsibility of the BehaviorTechnician will be to provide direct intervention and instructional programs for 5-7 young children with autism, utilizing evidence-based interventions. The position will be supervised by a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA). The BehaviorTechnician is responsible for collecting data, conducting assessments, implementing skill acquisition and behavior reduction procedures, and documenting and reporting outcomes. This position is also responsible for providing peer-support to part-time BehaviorTechnicians, typically undergraduate and graduate students in related degree programs at UNT. Minimum Qualifications
High school diploma/GED equivalent and one year of experience working with individuals with disabilities, a basic understanding of behavior analytic principles and procedures, and knowledge of evidence-based practices.

The College of Health and Public Service (HPS) at the University of North Texas prepares graduates to address diverse and complex social issues such as aging, disability, disaster management and recovery, criminal justice, health disparities and public safety, and find solutions to challenges in public administration, public health, exercise physiology and urban design.

The UNT Kristin Farmer Autism Center (KFAC) provides clinical services to support learning, development, community participation, and quality of life of individuals on the autism spectrum. KFAC offers programming for early childhood as well as middle childhood/adolescence. In addition, KFAC offers specialized programming for children with challenging behaviors that interfere with access to age-appropriate activities.
Position Overview
This position provides direct services to clients with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) at the UNT Kristin Farmer Autism Center (KFAC) under the supervision of a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA). The BehaviorTechnician is responsible for collecting data, conducting assessments, implementing skill acquisition and behavior reduction procedures, and documenting and reporting outcomes. This position is also responsible for assisting in the ongoing supervision of parttime BehaviorTechnicians and working with Senior BehaviorTechnicians and Behavior Analyst to provide training to new KFAC employees.
Minimum Qualifications
High school diploma/GED equivalent and one year of experience working with individuals with disabilities, a basic understanding of behavior analytic principles and procedures, and knowledge of evidence-based practices.
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
Basic understanding of autism spectrum disorders and evidence-based practices.
Ability to work with clients with autism spectrum disorders.
Ability to be patient, flexible, versatile and cope with stressful situations.
