Total Spectrum and its employees specialize in making a positive impact in the Autism community by providing in-home and center-based Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) services to children with Autism Spectrum Disorders!
Sessions take place between one RBT and one client and are typically scheduled for 2-4 hrs in duration. One RBT can have a caseload of 2-5 clients ranging in age from 2-25 and can expect to be scheduled anywhere between the time of 8:00 a.m. - 8:30 p.m. Monday-Friday and weekends. This can vary depending on the needs of our clients. A fully trained RBT therapist can receive, on average, 10-30 hours/week and there is opportunity for advancement into full-time.
Specific responsibilities include:

About the Role Behavioral Health Technician (BHT)
We are seeking compassionate and reliable Behavioral Health Technicians to join our team. As a BHT, you play a vital role in supporting clients throughout their recovery journey while ensuring a safe, structured, and therapeutic environment.
Key Responsibilities:
Provide direct care and support for clients with substance use disorders (SUD) and secondary mental health conditions.
Supervise and coordinate daily facility operations, ensuring a safe and supportive environment.
Lead and participate in client engagement activities that promote recovery, life skills, and wellness.
Conduct facility inspections, monitor chores, and ensure living spaces are safe and clean.
Provide client transportation to and from treatment centers, medical appointments, support groups, and community outings.
Monitor resident interactions, report unusual behaviors, and assist in conflict resolution.
Support clients in developing independent living skills, including personal hygiene, cleaning, and daily routines.
Facilitate life skills groups, community meetings, and recovery support sessions.
Encourage and educate clients on using peer support programs such as 12-Step, SMART Recovery, Celebrate Recovery, and Recovery Dharma.
Supervise safe medication use and follow all health and safety protocols.
Maintain accurate facility records, inventory supplies, and ensure compliance with organizational policies.

Strong interpersonal, communication, and crisis-management skills.
Compassion, patience, and a commitment to helping others succeed in recovery.
Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends as needed.

Key Duties:

Maintain accurate, timely documentation and follow safety protocols

You Should Apply for This Job If…
You are a strong and confident Orthopedic Physical Therapist with at least 1-2 years of experience and enjoy combining Manual Therapies with patient education, therapeutic exercises and an evidence-based approach to care.
Note: We would prefer it if you had a few years of experience, but we will not turn away the right person. More than anything, we are looking for future industry leaders who are eager to throw off the shackles of insurance dictating care so they can become renowned specialist physical therapists building upon and continuing our company's legacy.
You either are experienced using Manual Therapies/Orthopedics or have an interest in pursuing training & mentorship in these specialty fields to complement your orthopedic skills and address important 'missing links' for tricky patient cases.
