Implement individualized treatment plans developed by BCBAs Collect data to monitor the progress and effectiveness of the individualized treatment plan. Provide regular written and verbal progress updates on treatment goals. Support the BCBA with training families on implementing individualized treatment plans. Participate in team meetings and training workshops. Maintain a high level of professionalism including dress, timeliness, and communication Qualifications: Bachelor's Degree in Psychology, Education, or a related field BLS certification or willing to obtain certification Experience working with children with developmental disabilities Experience working with children with behavior problems Excellent communication skills Experience working in home setting Must have valid drivers license; valid car insurance; and have reliable transportation Fluent English required FOR RBTs - Registered Behavior Technician Certification through the BACB. Essential Functions • Documents observations on assigned patients in legible, accurate and appropriate format following hospital and unit procedures. • Communicates appropriate information regarding the patient's condition to the RN and other members of the healthcare team. • Assists with nursing education groups. • Completes assignments of AM/PM care, vital signs, phlebotomy, total milieu supervision of patient care: assist members of the nursing team and/or other disciplines; assist with admissions and discharges as assigned. • Transports and delivers items, equipment, and medications(excluding controlled substances and IV chemotherapy drugs)throughout the facility. • May have limited access to areas storing medications. • Demonstrates awareness of legal issues, patient rights and compliance with the standards of regulatory and accrediting agencies. • Practices efficient use of supplies. • Maintains a safe, clean, and organized unit. • Receives and process incoming calls, patient calls and guest requests. • Transports and delivers items and equipment throughout the facility.
