Provide 1:1 care directly with Clients during scheduled sessions under the supervision of a Board- Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA).
Implement established behavioral treatment plans based on the science of applied behavior analysis (ABA) across skill levels, moderate to severe problem behaviors, and service delivery settings.
Ensure that 100% of the scheduled direct services are provided without any scheduling interruptions.
Maintain accurate and timely documentation of client progress, interventions, and outcomes.
Collect data related to Client's progress during treatment sessions.
Incorporate activities and games that are developmentally appropriate and engaging for the client in alignment with the treatment plan.
Promote Client engagement to build their strengths in a natural and enjoyable manner.
Consulting with case Supervisor on treatment plans, Client updates, and intervention strategies.
Receiving and utilizing ongoing training, guidance, and support.
Follow program procedures, administrative tasks, direct therapy skills, and other duties that are in line with our compliance requirements.
Maintaining reliable communication to record scheduled appointments and return phone calls within 24 hours.
Ensuring that the company's “zero tolerance policy” is understood, implemented, and reinforced in the region.
Completing all duties, tasks, and/or special projects assigned by leaders and/or the business.
Participating in team meetings, trainings, and professional development opportunities.
Providing make up hours as an alternate care team member.

What You Will Do to Change Lives
Under direct supervision of the Team Leader, Direct Care Staff provide support and case management for members served with a Developmental Disability and other co-occurring disorders by assisting them to live as independently as possible in their chosen community.
*5% shift differential added for AM weekends, 6% shift differential added for PM weekdays, 11% shift differential for PM weekends, 10% shift differential added for NOC weekdays, 15% shift differential added for NOC weekends*
Expected starting wage range is $22.17 - $25.13 Hourly. Telecare applies geographic differentials to its pay ranges. The pay range assigned to this role will be based on the geographic location from which the role is performed. Starting pay is commensurate with relevant experience above the minimum requirements.
What You Bring to the Table (Must Have)
High School Graduation or G.E.D.
Six months of prior experience providing direct care and special services to persons with developmental disabilities
Complete the required training for the Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) certification within 6 months of initial employment and obtain RBT certification within twelve months of initial employment or be a Qualified Behavior Modification Professional and maintain credential through employment
Within one year of employment, all direct care staff shall complete both segments of Direct Support Professional (DSP) competency-based training course including the competency tests or pass the department-approved challenge tests applicable to both training segments. Proof of prior successful completion of both training segments and competency exams will meet this requirement
Valid and current driver's license, and personal vehicle insurance with your name listed as a driver.
Willingness to use the company vehicle to drive clients to appointments and groups, etc.

Job Summary
As a school behavior tech, you will support teachers and administrators by working with students with behavior challenges in a classroom setting. In this role, you may work one-on-one with a student in a mainstream classroom. Or, you may be asked to support multiple students in a separate classroom designed to meet their unique educational needs.
Your students will vary in age from grades K-12, as determined by the school district. Their behavior challenges may range from mild to moderate to severe. The level of intervention and support they require will be determined case-by-case, according to the parameters outlined in their individual education plans (IEP) or 504 plans.
Your primary responsibilities will involve helping students learn to manage their behavior and optimize their learning experience. You will also play an important role in preserving a positive learning environment for their classmates and teachers. You will help students meet individual behavioral and academic goals by encouraging positive behaviors and setting appropriate boundaries. Teachers and administrators will also rely on you to observe and report students' progress toward the goals outlined in their IEP/504 plans.
