A DAY IN THE LIFE OF A BEHAVIORTECHNICIAN
At JumpStart Autism Collective, a full time BehaviorTechnician works within the hours of Monday through Friday from 8:00 am to 5:00 pm each day and is guaranteed 30-40 hours per week. No weekend or evening sessions!
A part time BehaviorTechnician can choose between two block schedule options, morning or afternoon, and is guaranteed 20-30 hours per week. No weekend or evening sessions!
Morning Block Schedule: Monday through Friday 7:45 am to 1:15 pm each day
Afternoon Block Schedule: Monday through Friday 11:45 am to 5:15 pm each day
Upon completing our in-depth, paid training program, our BehaviorTechnicians / Registered BehaviorTechnicians (RBTs) work one on one with children between the ages of one (1) year old to twelve (12) years old, providing early intervention behavioral therapy. Our team teaches learners on the autism spectrum new adaptive skills like language, functional communication, functional play, pro-social behaviors, self-help, and more! Our BehaviorTechnicians are supervised by our Board Certified Behavior Analysts (BCBAs) who create and oversee the customized Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) and Precision Teaching programming that our BehaviorTechnicians roll out with learners.
