As the Area Board-Certified Behavior Analyst, you'll play a pivotal role in transforming the lives of students in Grades K-12 across multiple Spectrum School locations by providing tailored clinical and educational interventions designed to meet each learner's unique needs. This position works under the support and direction of the Area/Regional VP, Operations and onsite Program Directors to enhance the academic, social, emotional, and behavioral outcomes of students through use of evidence-based interventions and in collaboration with the operations and educational staff from each campus within assigned area.
‖ Responsibilities Include:
Delivering comprehensive training and continuous guidance to teachers and educational staff in designing impactful Functional Behavior Assessments (FBAs) and Behavior Intervention Plans (BIPs).
Monitoring and evaluating the effectiveness and quality of academic instruction and behavioral support services provided to students, ensuring exceptional outcomes.
Supporting Spectrum staff by modeling, reinforcing, and enhancing instructional best practices to promote student growth aligned with Individualized Education Plan (IEP) goals.
Implementing evidence-based interventions by applying scientifically proven behavioral and educational strategies, promoting positive outcomes in academic, social, emotional, and independent functioning.
Providing crisis management intervention and support for students exhibiting aggressive or self-injurious behavior and developing strategies to reduce the need for 1:1 staffing.
Collaborating closely with on-site education teams to collect and analyze data on student behavior, monitor student progress, and ensure appropriate intervention responsiveness and consistent progress toward goals.
Conducting regular quality checks for each campus within assigned region at the student, staff, classroom, and site levels; making recommendations for improvement based on analysis of data.
Supporting the development of on-site teams within assigned the area through delivery of training on behavioral assessment, intervention, positive behavior supports, data collection, crisis management, and other relevant topics.
Providing guidance and supervision to staff members within assigned region pursuing BACB certification (RBT, BCaBA, BCBA), as agreed with the Program Director or VP of Behavior Services.
Assisting in the development and implementation of improvement plans for assigned campuses to enhance student performance and staff effectiveness.
Engaging in multi-disciplinary on-site and regional team meetings to discuss behavioral needs and contribute to the development of comprehensive support strategies.
Monitoring and ensuring adherence of all campuses to Department of Education regulations and internal standards for educational and behavioral service is maintained within assigned area.
Maintaining accurate and detailed records of assessments, interventions, progress, and compliance activities.
Providing operational support to all schools in the assigned area, focusing on academic achievement, behavioral support, staff retention, and development.
Performing additional duties or special projects as assigned to support organizational goals and student success.
‖ Qualifications Required:
Master's degree or higher in applied behavior analysis, behavioral therapy, special education or a closely related field of study.
Licensed currently or in the process of obtaining a board-certified behavior analyst (BCBA) credential.
Licensed currently or in the process of obtaining an education specialist or special education instruction credential preferred.
Hold currently or have the ability to obtain a valid CA state driver's license.
Ability to obtain and maintain certification in company approved crisis management (PCM) training.
Well-versed in applied behavior analysis (ABA) including positive behavior interventions and supports (PBIS), data-based decision making, and functional behavior analysis (FBA) and behavior intervention plans (BIP).
Prior experience and/or knowledge in special education services and compliance, effective teaching strategies, classroom management, personalized instruction and working with students.
Highly skilled in working with individuals with severe learning, emotional behavioral disorders, autism spectrum disorders, and/or other related disabilities.
Prior experience and highly skilled in crisis management systems and intervention procedures.
Prior experience and highly knowledgeable in working with students with individualized education plans (IEP's).
Proven success in developing and implementing effective intervention plans for students with diverse needs.
Proficiency in providing motivation and having critical conversations with students that help move them toward realistic goals.
Ability to think and act quickly and calmly in an emergency and make independent decisions.
Advanced oral and written communication, organization, conflict resolution, multitasking, problem solving, and decision-making ability.

BCBA Position Details:

BCBA Key Responsibilities:
Conduct Functional Behavior Assessments (FBAs) and develop data-driven, individualized Behavior Intervention Plans (BIPs) in alignment with student IEPs
Provide on-site and/or classroom-based coaching and training to school staff and behavior support personnel (e.g., Behavior Technicians, Paraeducators, Teachers)
Collaborate closely with multidisciplinary IEP teams, including special education teachers, school psychologists, and related service providers
Supervise and support RBTs and Behavior Interventionists, ensuring fidelity of implementation and professional growth
Monitor student progress through data collection, analysis, and ongoing plan revisions as needed

BCBA Requirements:
Current BCBA certification in good standing with the Behavior Analyst Certification Board (BACB)
Master's degree in Applied Behavior Analysis, Special Education, Psychology, or related field
Previous school-based experience working with diverse student populations, including students with autism, emotional disturbance, and other developmental disabilities
Strong understanding of IDEA, FAPE, and IEP implementation in public school settings
Ability to travel between school sites within the district as needed

Job Description
Under the direction of a licensed physician, registered nurse, or clinical supervisor, the Psychiatric Technician performs professional therapeutic procedures in the care and treatment of severely and persistently mentally ill and emotionally disturbed patients.

Gives a basic level of general and psychiatric nursing care to mentally ill patients; works with an interdisciplinary treatment team to provide an overall treatment program for the patient;
Under supervision, may perform nursing procedures such as administering medications and treatments, including oral medications, injections, and enemas, taking and charting vital signs;
Observes patients' condition and behavior; reports significant changes to supervisor or physician and documents care and/or treatments in nursing progress notes on patients; prepares patients and cares for them during treatment; gives first aid as needed;
Helps to create a safe and therapeutic environment for patients and recognizes early symptoms/signs of escalation and at risk behavior; uses appropriate interventions including crisis intervention, verbal de-escalation, and alerting other team members;
Implements therapeutic activities and documents patient participation; assists rehabilitation therapists in occupational and recreational therapies for patients;
Motivates patients to develop independence in performing activities of daily living; assists patients with feeding, clothing, toileting, activities of daily living; ensure patients follow safe practices that protect patients and others from personal injury;

Position Description
The Multilingual Learner Interventionist - Multilingual Learner Support works closely with teachers, school leaders, and the regional Multilingual Learner (ML) team to ensure that students identified as multilingual learners make measurable progress in their English language development and core academic skills. The Interventionist provides small group and one-on-one support in speaking, listening, reading, and writing, while also reinforcing foundational literacy and math skills. This role requires consistent use of data to plan instruction, close collaboration with classroom teachers, and clear communication with families regarding student progress.
This position is contingent on term-limited supplemental funding and will be reassessed annually.
The role reports to the Principal / Assistant Principal and the Regional Manager of Multilingual Learners.
Essential Functions:
* Instruction & Student Support
* Deliver small group and one-on-one interventions targeting English language development, aligned to students' Individualized ML needs.
* Provide both designated and integrated ELD instruction, using Rocketship-adopted curricula and strategies.
* Support a language-rich environment through vocabulary development, structured conversations, and opportunities for student presentations.
* Push-in, pull-out, or co-teach with general educators to ensure ML strategies are embedded in daily instruction.

Duties & Responsibilities
Conducts 100% of scheduled sessions, unless time-off has been granted or the parents of the client have communicated to the clinical team that they would not like for the hours to be provided.
Primarily responsible for conducting subbing sessions for other clients to sustain the productivity margin if a session is cancelled by the family. Subbing sessions will fall on Saturdays and within the employee's availability.
Additional hours or sessions may be assigned by the Regional leadership within employee's availability.
Implements individualized treatment goals and Behavioral Intervention Plans in response to the direction provided by the Clinical Director and Senior Clinical Leader/Clinical Leader and/or other clinical staff in order to improve the behavior and skill acquisition of clients diagnosed with Autism Spectrum Disorder.
Travels to Center, Home, and other community settings to deliver services.
Subbing sessions will primarily take place in the regional centers
Renders completed sessions daily and writes thorough notes
Communicates schedule changes and cancellations to clinical team immediately.
Participates in regular meetings and promptly communicates with Clinical Leaders/Clinical Directors via email and phone, regarding Treatment Plans and Behavioral Intervention Plans, family concerns and questions.
Fulfills the timely completion of necessary clinical documentation and communication of:

Position DescriptionThe Multilingual Learner Interventionist - Multilingual Learner Support works closely with teachers, school leaders, and the regional Multilingual Learner (ML) team to ensure that students identified as multilingual learners make measurable progress in their English language development and core academic skills. The Interventionist provides small group and one-on-one support in speaking, listening, reading, and writing, while also reinforcing foundational literacy and math skills. DEFINITION:

An RBT - Registered Behavioral Technician is expected to implement behavior intervention plans and conduct preference assessments and skill building activities. Behavior Support Specialists collect data and maintain client records in accordance with the specified behavior intervention plan and skill acquisition goals as defined per client. Our clients are diagnosed with a developmental disability and may also have an AXIS I mental health diagnosis and/or a restricted health care condition. Symptoms may include auditor and/or visual hallucinations, paranoia, anxiety attacks, low self-esteem, hyperactivity, poor coping skills, and/or independent living skills. Behaviors may include but are not limited to the following: self-injury, property destruction, tantrums, suicide threat or attempts, physical and/or verbal aggression, attention seeking, fire setting, unauthorized absence, and inappropriate sexual behaviors. Persons with a mental health diagnosis may also have histories of abuse, neglect, substance abuse, and abandonment and be unable to manage in their current settings
QUALIFICATIONS:

Provide 1:1 play-based instruction to clients using techniques from the field of ABA.
Travel to client's location to provide services.

Collect data and maintain client records in accordance with the specified behavior intervention plan and skill acquisition goals as defined per client.
Implement program curricula.
Directly deliver individual and group learning experiences to assist each participant served in obtaining his/her IPP objective for which A Bright Future is responsible.
Maintain data regarding participant progress.
Participate in participant assessment, planning and evaluation processes.
Prepare teaching material for Independent Living Skills Training and Support Service sessions.
Schedule participant session time and programming according to their Individual Service Plan and the Training domains.
See Individual participants in their home to train, teach and provide support in: money management, nutrition, cooking, comparison shopping, emergency procedures, community education, medical procedures, counseling and crisis intervention, and housing.
Provided training in rations determined by current vendors, and in accordance with the least restrictive environment philosophy (1:1 staff; client ratio, unless otherwise specified)
Coordinate participant training programs with other programs with which they are involved.
Report suspected abuse immediately to supervisor, case manager and other appropriate agencies as instructed. Complete special incident report within 24 hours.
Keep participant files up to date at the home of the participant.
Assist participant in coordinating with other programs, services and benefit systems, such as Social Security, AFDC, WIC, Food Stamps, counseling, Planned Parenthood, etc.
Understand and convey, in your interactions with your participants and other agencies, the participant-centered philosophy of A Bright Future.
Attend monthly staff meetings, and monthly individual meetings with supervisor.
Must be able to relate positively to individuals, their families/conservators, neighbors, Regional Center representatives and other community members
Must be mature and emotionally stable
Must possess the belief and attitude that all people with developmental disabilities can be served in their communities
Must be capable of using language that portrays people with developmental disabilities in a way other than the typical medical model

Position DescriptionThe Multilingual Learner Interventionist - Multilingual Learner Support works closely with teachers, school leaders, and the regional Multilingual Learner (ML) team to ensure that students identified as multilingual learners make measurable progress in their English language development and core academic skills. The Interventionist provides small group and one-on-one support in speaking, listening, reading, and writing, while also reinforcing foundational literacy and math skills. This role requires consistent use of data to plan instruction, close collaboration with classroom teachers, and clear communication with families regarding student progress.
This position is contingent on term-limited supplemental funding and will be reassessed annually.
The role reports to the Principal / Assistant Principal and the Regional Manager of Multilingual Learners.Essential Functions:
Instruction & Student Support
Deliver small group and one-on-one interventions targeting English language development, aligned to students' Individualized ML needs.
Provide both designated and integrated ELD instruction, using Rocketship-adopted curricula and strategies.
Support a language-rich environment through vocabulary development, structured conversations, and opportunities for student presentations.
Push-in, pull-out, or co-teach with general educators to ensure ML strategies are embedded in daily instruction.
Assessment & Data Use
Administer and/or support administration of ELPAC assessments for multilingual learners.
Conduct frequent progress monitoring in speaking, listening, reading, and writing; share results with teachers and families.
Collaborate with teachers and school leaders to analyze ELPAC and other assessment data; co-develop action plans that guide instruction and intervention.
Collaboration & Family Engagement
Partner with classroom teachers during planning cycles to ensure integrated ELD strategies are reflected in lesson plans.
Report student progress to families on a 6-8 week basis and partner with school teams to ensure multilingual learner voices are represented at community events and school meetings.
Participate in professional development and actively contribute to grade-level and school-wide collaboration.
Qualifications:
Passion for working with multilingual learners and supporting their academic and language development.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills; ability to work collaboratively with staff, students, and families.
Experience interpreting and using multiple sets of data to guide instruction.
At least one year of school-based experience with elementary-aged students preferred.
