Interpretation of referrals & orders to check for appropriateness, indications and contraindications
Initial evaluations/ Discharge summaries/ Re-evaluations/ Daily treatments:
Are performed & documented in timely manner , may include but are not limited to:
Medical diagnosis, medical history, objective physical/cognitive findings, measurable / functional/ behavioral based patient goals, treatment plan, discharge plan, education and communication as indicated
Determination of which tasks require the expertise and decision-making capacity of the P.T. and must be personally rendered by the P.T. and which tasks may be delegated
Delegation and instruction of the services to be rendered by the supportive personnel, including but not limited to specific treatment program with patient goals / plan, precautions, special problems, or contraindicated procedures
Education and instruction as indicated, including, but not limited to: patient, family, other staff, follow up facilities
Transportation of patients as needed
Maintain, gather, clean, set up all equipment per facility policies
Daily recordkeeping, including (but not limited to) evaluations, daily treatment notes, discharge notes and daily charges, all communication/education provided (per facility / department policy)

Physical Demands and Environmental Work Conditions:
SUMMARY: ALL Rehab Department jobs may place heavy physical demands on the employee. The amount of time that the employee is exposed to these demands will fluctuate, as there are uncontrollable variables inherent in healthcare: patient's height and weight, patient's level of cooperation and strength, specific clinical needs, etc.
Physical Activities:
All Rehab Department jobs may require lifting / pushing / pulling varying weights, may exceed two hundred (200) pounds
Activities may include intermittent or prolonged: standing, walking, sitting, talking, hearing, using the hands to finger and feel, pushing, pulling, stooping, kneeling, crouching, crawling, reaching with arms, and smelling
Repetitive motions may also be required, such as: wrist / hand movements, grasping, and finger dexterity (as in typing, writing, faxing, filing papers, etc.)
Work Environment:
The job requires exposure to the following environmental conditions: wet, humid conditions (not the weather), working near moving or mechanical parts, fumes or airborne particles, risk of electrical shock, risk of vibration
The noise level will vary from very quiet to very loud

Responsibilities
What you can expect to do as a Board Certified Behavior Analyst:
Conduct detailed behavioral assessments to evaluate patient progress toward treatment goals.

The BehaviorTechnician must maintain personal insurance of the vehicle that they utilize during work hours. Current Vehicle Insurance Verification must be provided every six months.

Responsibilities The Mental Health Technician (MHT) provides direct care and supervision for residents, assure residents are kept safe, learn and practice appropriate hygiene and self-help skills, and are aware of rules and expectations. MHT's act as a role model for residents, demonstrating effective problem solving and decision-making skills. Exposure to psychiatric patients who may exhibit violent/aggressive behavior. Assist in providing recreational and therapeutic activities for the residents, transporting residents to and from medical appointments, and assuring scheduled programming is carried out. Perform duties as assigned in accordance with the ANA Standards of Practice for Psychiatric Mental Health Care, and facility mission, values, policies, and behavioral standards. Mental Health Technicians report to the Milieu Manager under the direction of the Chief Nursing Officer.
Full Time Evening Shifts Available - 3pm-11:30pm (every other weekend rotation required)

Our treatment programs provide a structured and supportive treatment environment that promotes self-acceptance and helps stabilize patients suffering from acute psychiatric illness. Our multidisciplinary treatment teams consist of psychiatrists, licensed therapists and highly specialized nurses who collaborate to develop and implement effective and compassionate treatment plans for our patients. Cedar Ridge Behavioral Hospital at Bethany is a 56-bed psychiatric hospital offering adult behavioral health programs and treatment services. Our team of dedicated professionals provides crisis stabilization and medication management to patients who have disorders such as depression, anxiety, mood disorders, paranoia and schizophrenia. We provide a secure haven for patients who are having suicidal or homicidal thoughts. We can help patients regain their sense of self-worth. Our adult inpatient mental health treatment is for individuals over the age of 18 with severe mental illness that is impacting their ability to function.
Qualifications
* High school diploma or equivalent required
* Bachelor's Degree in Psychology or related field preferred
* Six (6) months to one (1) year of experience working with a psychiatric in-patient population preferred

* Successfully complete a drug test
* Successfully pass a national background check
* Must possess valid Drivers License
* Physical agility to manage patients
* Ability to push, pull and lift up to 40 pounds.

* Perform safety and priority service letters issued by Caterpillar and or other manufactures, inspections required in our Planned Maintenance Program, and installation and repair of Product Link units.
WHAT YOU'LL NEED:
* High school diploma or general education degree (GED); and 3-5 years of related experience and/or testing or equivalent combination of education and experience.
* Associate's degree/certification in diesel technology, or similar mechanical discipline, preferred.
* Certification and or experience in air-condition and brakes.
* Clean driving record and CDL for field assignment, must be at least 21 to be assigned and operate field vehicle
* Specific CAT product knowledge of diesel, electrical, electronic, hydraulic, mechanical and pneumatic systems and components.
* General knowledge of basic hand tools, air tools, precision measuring tools and instruments, diagnostic software, cranes and rigging equipment.
* Requires the ability to provide accurate quotes and pricing estimates to the customer.
* May be required to complete a DOT physical.
* May require MSHA certification.
* Successfully complete Work Steps assessment.
* Must have successfully completed all level II foundational assessment tests.
