**Seeking a Board Certified Behavior Analyst for a hybrid role in the North Bay Area**
The BCBA position will be held by an individual who has the training, education, and/or experience necessary to serve as a Qualified Autism Service Professional. This position will provide clinical supervision as well as oversight of the programs being implemented by the Supervisor/BCaBA and Behavior Interventionists. The BCBA is an individual who meets all of the following criteria: Provides behavioral health treatment, Develops and Implements Treatment Plans with the oversight and guidance of the Clinical Director, and has training and experience in providing services for individuals with Autism, developmental disabilities, or other delays.
Essential Job Functions / Key Performance Areas
To perform this job successfully, the BCBA must be able to satisfactorily perform each essential function listed below:
Designing, developing, and implementing a wide range of ABA programs for individuals with autism, developmental disabilities, and/or delays.
Collaborating with families and other professionals to tailor ABA programs to each client's specific needs.
Directly delivering individual and group learning experiences to assist each client served in obtaining his/her treatment goals and objectives.
Meet with, train, and supervise mid-level supervisors /BCaBA and direct care staff (Behavior Interventionists) to provide guidance and review progress on goals, determine the effectiveness of intervention strategies, and consult about the overall implementation of the treatment plan.
Conduct assessments, write treatment goals, analyze data and write progress reports, under the direction and supervision of the Clinical Director.
Conduct comprehensive Functional Behavior Assessments utilizing standardized assessment tools including the VB-MAPP, ABBLS-R, Vineland-III, etc., under the direction and supervision of the Clinical Director.
Develop and oversee the implementation of behavioral plans for children.
Assist in the development of adaptive skills for the individual to take a more positive role in the school, home & community setting.
Provide prescribed behavioral consultation to the family and/or school.
Supervise ABA programs to assist clients learn a variety of skills related to cooperation with daily routines and demands, coping with stress, play and social interactions, functional communication, attending to tasks, safety awareness, and self-help.
Empower parents, caregivers and other support staff to influence clients within their natural routines so they can be more successful, independent, and self-empowered.
Establish and maintain positive and supportive relationships with clients, all family members and any other staff persons supporting the client's individualized needs.
Define target behaviors and write treatment goals while coordinating evidence-based programs, reinforcement, antecedent management strategies, protocols, interventions, etc.
Model for and teach support staff how to implement intervention strategies and protocols.
Set up and maintain ABA session schedules for support staff and clients and manage planned and unplanned adjustments or cancelations.
Meet with families/caregivers in-clinic OR via telehealth on a weekly basis to review progress on goals, determine the effectiveness of intervention strategies, and consult about the overall implementation of the treatment plan.
Requirements:
Availability to work a consistent weekly schedule. Availability in the afternoon and evenings.
Eligibility to work in the United States.
Valid California Driver's license (if working in-person/hybrid)
Reliable transportation, and valid automobile Insurance.
Master's Degree in Applied Behavior Analysis or related field.
BCBA Certification.

* Primarily responsible for conducting subbing sessions for other clients to sustain the productivity margin if a session is cancelled by the family. Subbing sessions will fall on Saturdays and within the employee's availability.
* Additional hours or sessions may be assigned by the Regional leadership within employee's availability.
* Implements individualized treatment goals and Behavioral Intervention Plans in response to the direction provided by the Clinical Director and Senior Clinical Leader/Clinical Leader and/or other clinical staff in order to improve the behavior and skill acquisition of clients diagnosed with Autism Spectrum Disorder.
* Travels to Center, Home, and other community settings to deliver services.
* Subbing sessions will primarily take place in the regional centers
* Renders completed sessions daily and writes thorough notes
* Communicates schedule changes and cancellations to clinical team immediately.
* Participates in regular meetings and promptly communicates with Clinical Leaders/Clinical Directors via email and phone, regarding Treatment Plans and Behavioral Intervention Plans, family concerns and questions.

About the Opportunity
The primary responsibility of a Behavior Specialist is to implement consistent evidence-based mental health services and Applied Behavioral Analysis programs to clients with Autism Spectrum Disorder and other co-morbid developmental disabilities in response to the recommendations of the Clinical Leader and Clinical Director in the home, center and/or other natural settings whose permanent RBT provider is not available to cover hours or a session.
Duties & Responsibilities
Conducts 100% of scheduled sessions, unless time-off has been granted or the parents of the client have communicated to the clinical team that they would not like for the hours to be provided.
Primarily responsible for conducting subbing sessions for other clients to sustain the productivity margin if a session is cancelled by the family. Subbing sessions will fall on Saturdays and within the employee's availability.
Additional hours or sessions may be assigned by the Regional leadership within employee's availability.
Implements individualized treatment goals and Behavioral Intervention Plans in response to the direction provided by the Clinical Director and Senior Clinical Leader/Clinical Leader and/or other clinical staff in order to improve the behavior and skill acquisition of clients diagnosed with Autism Spectrum Disorder.
Travels to Center, Home, and other community settings to deliver services.
Subbing sessions will primarily take place in the regional centers
Renders completed sessions daily and writes thorough notes
Communicates schedule changes and cancellations to clinical team immediately.
Participates in regular meetings and promptly communicates with Clinical Leaders/Clinical Directors via email and phone, regarding Treatment Plans and Behavioral Intervention Plans, family concerns and questions.
Fulfills the timely completion of necessary clinical documentation and communication of:
Daily Treatment Session Notes
Daily Treatment Target Data
Daily (If applicable) Behavior Data.
Keeps updated with other site-related documents and current clinical reports for each child served.
Remains current regarding new research, current trends and developments in special education and related fields.

PACE (Pacific Autism Center for Education) is looking for entry-level or experienced behavior therapists for our Faces program which offers 1:1 (ABA) behavioral therapy to children 18 months and older primarily in our Clinic and/or in the child's home. Under the direction of a Clinical Supervisor, (BCBA), Behavior Therapists utilize the science of Applied Behavior Analysis to work on social, communication and play skills, as well as behavior management with children. We want to meet you if you are interested in working part time, 2pm-5pm, Mon-Fri, and you meet the following requirements:
* Have enthusiasm for and experience working with children
* Have a minimum of a high school diploma or GED, prefer a AA or Bachelors' degree

* Clearance Must possess and maintain a clear DOJ (Department of Justice), FBI (Federal Bureau of Investigation) clearance prior to and during employment
* Driver Preferred that candidate possess a valid California drivers license with a good driving record, proof of insurance, and access to an automobile to travel to and from therapy sessions (up to a maximum of 10 miles) and to the clinic for training sessions and meetings.
