This is a position working in client homes with children who have autism and other behavioral needs. The primary responsibility is working directly with the children on a regular basis, utilizing a program of applied behavior analysis to reduce the occurrences of challenging behaviors and reinforce pro-social behaviors. Responsibilities:
Provide individual treatment for individuals aged up to 21 years old.
Implement learning programs under the supervision of a BCBA, collect data on target behaviors, type session notes after completion of each session.
Deliver skills instruction to clients based upon the principles of applied behavior analysis.
Collaborate with caregivers to evaluate and modify the behavior of children with special needs.
Assist in providing training and guidance to parents, and other caregivers to help children overcome problems with communication, social skills, attention, or sensory integration.

Position Summary:
Sovah Martinsville is seeking a part-time Behavioral Health Monitor Tech -Night shift to provide services to ensure a safe environment for psychiatric patients in a locked inpatient unit setting.
Performs continual surveillance of behavioral health unit monitors and operates the patient-monitoring system.
Monitors dining/day rooms, and hallways on Behavioral Health when occupied by patients to assure patient safety in the environment.
Monitors patients for suspicious behavior indicating the possibility of self-harm.
