Responsibilities The Behavior Technician is responsible for delivering one-on-one ABA therapy services to children with autism. Under the supervision of a Board Certified Behavior Analyst, the Behavior Technician will encourage, support, and challenge these children to reach new milestones by teaching new skill acquisition and behavior modification. RESPONSIBILITIES/ACCOUNTABILITIES: Works 1:1 with a child in performing ABA therapy, following the guidance in the behavior treatment plan and under the direction of a supervising clinician. Ensures all billing is submitted in a timely fashion and the documentation accurately supports the services rendered. Updates working availability in the EMR platform and communicates availability changes with their Client Advocate. Communicates regularly with Client Advocate and Supervisor as it relates to assigned client(s). Complies with and follows the BACB code of ethics as it relates to service delivery and professionalism. Performs other related duties as required. Qualifications 18 years old with a HS Diploma or GED. Passion for working with children, especially those with neuro-divergent behaviors. Minimum 1 year working with children. Reliable transportation. Completion of 40 hour Registered Behavior Technician training. If training has not been previously completed, training will be provided by Powerback Pediatrics. Willingness to obtain RBT certification through BACB. Posted Salary Range USD $17.00 - USD $20.00 /Hr.
