As this is a therapeutic intervention, meals must include the basic plating requirements of the patient meal and utilize the items provided on the hot and cold bars, or a fully plated meal in kitchen/restaurant (as appropriate). Perform additional duties as assigned. Qualifications Education Qualifications: High school diploma or equivalent required. Associate degree or higher or at least 2 years of healthcare experience in a similar position/ related field preferred. (i.e. Paraprofessional, Mental Health Technician, Behavior Specialist, Recovery Coach). Bachelor's degree in psychology, social work, behavioral health, or a related field; a relevant certification or licensure preferred. Professional Qualifications: This is an entry-level position; however, 6+ months of direct client care / milieu experience in a mental/behavioral health or healthcare setting, particularly with eating disorders is preferred. Completion of Preceptor Program preferred. Other Qualifications: Employees at Residential sites must have a valid driver's license and be authorized to drive. Employees at Residential are required to have a current Basic Life Support certification within 30 days of hire. Job Description The CNA/BHT is a vital member of the interdisciplinary care team, providing direct support to residents in a 16-bed behavioral health Enhanced Services Facility (ESF). The role combines compassionate personal care with behavioral health interventions to promote resident stability, wellness, and recovery. The CNA/BHT works under the supervision of the Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN), Registered Nurse (RN), and Program Coordinator to ensure the safety, dignity, and well-being of all residents. Reports To: RN/LPN Facility: Pacific Ridge Enhanced Services Classification: Non-Exempt Schedule: Full-time, Part-time, or Per Diem (Day or Night Shifts) Compensation: $22.00 - $32.00 per hour Core Responsibilities Provide care and behavioral support in accordance with each resident's Person-Centered Service Plan (PCSP), Behavior Support Plan (BSP), and Crisis Prevention and Response Protocol (CPRP). Part III: Major Duties and Responsibilities (depending on specific assignment-duties and responsibilities listed may include, but are not limited to the following): * Provide district leadership in behavior planning and support.. * Contribute to district level PBIS team and provide support for decision making and effective team functioning. * Coach and train school staff regarding effective practices for behavior support.. * Meet with District administration to produce district level support and products for successful behavior support implementation within the schools. * Present periodic reports to District administration on the ongoing successes and barriers to behavior support implementation. * Maintain open and ongoing communication with district and building discipline teams. * Provide staff development to support successful implementation of effective behavior supports. * Provide training and technical support for PBIS and SWIS. * Promote effective behavior support strategies within the District through various modes (school board meetings, newsletter, website). * Work collaboratively with school level Student Support Teams, Behavior Specialists, and coordinators. * Act as a liaison between school teams and the school district administration. * Maintain ongoing contact with each building Student Support Team. * Attend building team behavior support meetings to assist with implementation as needed. * Connect teams to necessary resources for successful implementation of effective behavior support strategies. * Coordinate needed data collection (SETS, Team Checklist, EBS Survey, SWIS). * Assist team in developing, implementing and evaluating Action Plans using a variety of data sources. * Serve as a resource and support to school teams in planning supports for students with behavior challenges. * Required to follow Board policies and stay abreast of updates and changes. * Performs other duties as assigned. Part IV: Minimum Qualifications: * A minimum of five years of successful experience in planning and delivering behavioral interventions for school-based youth with significant behavioral challenges. * Valid Washington Teaching Certificate or ESA. * Master's Degree in education, behavior, counseling, psychology or related field and a minimum of three years experience in related field. * Must have a valid Washington State driver's license and automobile for on the job use. * Must be knowledgeable regarding Positive Behavioral Intervention Support.
