Job Description Southeastern Directions for Life is 1 of 11 Community Mental Health Centers in South Dakota dedicated to providing quality, professional services to keep our individuals, families, schools, workplaces, and communities emotionally strong and healthy. We serve children, adults and families each year in the Minnehaha, Lincoln, McCook and Turner Counties. Southeastern Directions for Life is currently accepting applications for a Chemical Dependency or Mental Health Therapist, with Dual Licensure preferred. This Therapist will be a member of a multidisciplinary team and have the responsibility to provide counseling to assigned caseload; with a strong emphasis on Mental Health and Initial Integrated Assessments. While providing individual, group and family therapy, participates in interdisciplinary treatment planning by developing a comprehensive psychosocial assessment and crisis intervention consultation. Complete necessary documentation. Provide public or educational presentations as needed. Hours for this position are Full Time, Monday-Friday, 8am-4pm.
