Schedule: 2-3 days a week or even full time!

Behavioral Interventions
Implement evidence-based ABA strategies (DTT, NET, PRT)
Develop and oversee Positive Behavior Support plans
Provide behavior crisis support as needed

Utilize tools like PECS, AAC, and verbal behavior techniques
Support daily living skills (toileting, dressing, feeding)
Team Collaboration
Participate in IEP team meetings and training sessions
Collaborate with multidisciplinary team of teachers, therapists, and staff
Supervise and coach BHTs, RBTs, paraprofessionals, and class aides
Provide parent training and strategy support
Conduct skill-based training sessions when necessary
Administrative
Collect and analyze behavior and skill acquisition data
Maintain current written documents or electronic files, as required by the clinical team.
Maintain daily notes and compliance documentation
Ensure compliance with regulatory and organizational policies and procedures.
Complete other duties, as assigned
Qualifications
Masters degree in Applied Behavior Analysis, Psychology, Education, or a related field
Board Certification in Behavior Analysis (BCBA), in good standing with BACB
Valid Licensed Behavior Analyst in CT
Strong understanding of ABA principles and techniques, including DTT, NET, and PRT.
Two (2) years of experience conducting FBAs and creating Behavior Support Plans
Experience teaching functional communication and social skills, and implementing and creating behavior analytic programs
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for working with children, families, and interdisciplinary teams.
Proficiency in data collection and analysis tools.

We are hiring both new Behavior Therapist (BTs) as well as experienced Registered Behavior Technicians (RBTs) to join our diverse team. Alongside our amazing BCBAs, you will implement top tier behavior therapy programs through 1:1 therapy, data collection, and teamwork.

Responsibilities
Direct Client Care: Provide one-on-one therapy to clients in various settings including our Centers, homes and/or schools.
Implement Behavior Intervention Plans (BIPs): Follow the behavior intervention plans designed by BCBAs to address specific behavioral goals and objectives for each client.
Data Collection: Accurately collect and record data on client behaviors and responses during therapy sessions, ensuring data integrity and consistency.
Progress Monitoring: Collaborate with the supervising BCBAs to track and report client progress towards behavioral goals and adjust intervention plans as needed.
Behavior Reduction Techniques: Utilize approved behavior reduction techniques and strategies as outlined in the behavior intervention plan to address challenging behaviors.
Skill Acquisition: Assist clients in acquiring and developing functional skills, communication abilities, and appropriate social behaviors.
Parent/Caregiver Training: Provide training and support to parents/caregivers on implementing behavior intervention techniques and strategies in the home environment.
Professionalism: Adhere to ethical guidelines and professional standards in behavior analysis while maintaining client confidentiality.
Documentation: Complete required paperwork, progress reports, and session notes.
Communication: Maintain open communication with the BCBAs, parents/caregivers, and other team members involved in the client's treatment.
Qualifications
Passion for working with children and helping others.
High School Diploma or GED is required.
Must meet all BACB eligibility requirements to obtain RBT certification.
Ability to pass the RBT certification exam within the training period.
Must obtain and maintain RBT certification through the BACB.
Strong written and verbal communication skills.
Excellent time management and interpersonal skills.
Physical requirements
Physical capacity to move quickly and respond to potentially aggressive behavior and
de-escalate situations with clients.
Prolonged periods of standing, walking, kneeling, bending, squatting, running and/or
sitting in order to interact with clients.
Must be able to move and lift up to 50 pounds to assist with client positioning or mobility.
Adequate vision and hearing are needed to work with clients and staff.
Eye-hand coordination and manual dexterity to operate office equipment and other
necessary tools.
