Powerback Rehabilitation To You allows the Physical Therapist to evaluate and treat in the most functional environment which is the patient's home. The Physical Therapist assesses the need for, develops, and delivers physical therapy programs to facilitate rehabilitation. The Physical Therapist identifies the need for and makes referral(s) to other disciplines to address the comprehensive needs of patients. They implement individualized therapy programs designed to restore, reinforce, and enhance performance. In addition, the Physical Therapist instructs, educates and trains patients and caregivers in those skills and functions essential for promoting independence and productivity, in order to diminish or correct pathology. They direct activities to promote and maintain health. This position provides a flexible schedule and work environment in various settings.
1. As necessary or applicable, supervision of Physical Therapy Assistants, temporary licensees, students and support personnel in accordance with state licensure requirements and professional standards.2. Responsible for adherence to department and patient treatment schedule, timely clinical and billing documentation requirements as well as work related meetings.3. Attends and contributes to patient care, staffing conferences and other related meetings.4. Makes referrals to other disciplines and agencies in order to address the comprehensive needs of the patient.5. Consults with other members of the rehabilitation team to select the most appropriate therapeutic regimen consistent with the needs and capabilities of each patient.6. Adapts program and/or plan of care according to the needs of the individual patient.7. Promotes a safe environment and enforces the elimination of fire and safety hazards.8. Maintain a weekly schedule and develop lesson plans for intensive teaching sessions and small group intervention.
Manages all students on caseload including monitoring dates, scheduling with school and family, development goals and transition assessments/plans when necessary
Complete required documents including assessments, quarterly progress reports, report cards/transcripts (as assigned), graduation portfolios, and other required documents by due date.
Communicate regularly with parents/clinical staff to ensure patient goals are being met, and that their needs are addressed in a timely and appropriate fashion.
Maintain accurate and up-to-date data on each patient including updating and monitoring data sheets for the educational team.
Correctly implement and monitor classroom behavior management system and student-specific behavior plans in collaboration with the behavioral supervisory team.
Completes record of service for patients by designated due date/timeframe
Responsible for following all training on other policies and procedures that do not fall under the above two responsibilities

JOB SUMMARY:
Behavior Technicians are responsible for implementing Applied Behavioral Analysis (ABA) based programs as directed by Licensed Applied Behavior Analyst/ Board Certified Behavior Analyst and Master Level Clinician Supervisor. Behavioral intervention services to patients with Autism Spectrum diagnosis (DSM 5) or an Autistic /Asperger/PDD, NOS and other behavioral health diagnosis. This is performed in accordance with the outpatient mental health clinic program. Cases are assigned within the Randolph, Dorchester and Medford area and traveling to patients' homes is required daily as part of duties.
QUALIFICATION REQUIRED AND EXPERIENCE:
A bachelor's degree in Social Work (preferred) or Public Health, Counseling, Psychology with a clinical concentration, or have licensure or certification to practice in the Social Worker (LCW), training as a Behavior Technician or be willing to be trained. This full-Time experience on 1 year working under the supervision of a Master Level Clinician providing Behavioral intervention services to patient with Autism Spectrum diagnosis (DSM 5) or an Autistic /Asperger/PDD, NOS and other behavioral health diagnosis for individual, children, adolescents, and families in their community environment.
Minimum requirement is a high school diploma and training as Registered Behavioral Technician (RBT) or be willing to be trained.
