Job Overview
The lead counselor helps to create curriculum, develops and directs an original musical with campers. Collaborating with the music director, the lead counselor will create an exciting show that students have full input in developing, and which highlights campers' unique talents and abilities to be performed at the end of a 2-week process.
Requirements
Lead Counselor in KidsAct! and TeensAct! Camps. Under the direction of the Director of Education, lead all activities and, together with the music director, direct and devise original shows with campers.
Maintain standards of inclusion and belonging, addressing the needs of each camper.
Facilitate an atmosphere of fun and creativity, ensuring the enjoyment and safety of all campers throughout the day.

Position Overview

The Academic Interventionist is responsible for working directly with students to provide tutoring, coaching, goal-setting, and academic case management to achieve measurable improvements in academic performance.
Duties/Responsibilities
Instructional Intervention
Develop academic lesson plans based on students' individual learning needs as required: intervention should be engaging as well as enable learning and recall of new knowledge strengthened through different exposures of ādoingā (i.e., seeing, hearing, touching, etc.)
Use data to facilitate students' improvement and increase engagement as a result of their sustained participation in KIPP's blended learning programs
Provide students with daily feedback on mastery performance in character and academics
Facilitate intervention that is collaborative and is socially-centered, allowing young people to build skills through learning as a team
Lead small-group tutoring, coaching, goal-setting, and academic case management designed to bridge the gaps in students' understanding.
Performs routine administrative office tasks as required, including but not limited to preparing reports and correspondence, copying and filing documents, answering the telephone, sending and receiving documents and emails, entering and retrieving data
Demonstrate strong pedagogy and authentic interest in the academic growth and development of students
Blended Learning Connections
Collect/enter student data on academic gains and other outcome targets. Consistent completion of all required documentation: forms, grade checks, assessments, attendance records, etc.
Organize own work daily, weekly, and monthly to ensure key deadlines are met and are completed on time and according to established policies and procedures.
Communicate student progress as needed to core-content teachers.

Purpose of Position

Consistently follow and implement treatment plans set up by the BCBA Supervisor and prepare program materials; treatment protocols that include a wide variety of domains such as toilet training, communication, social, and adaptive living skills.
Maintain open communication with the BCBA Supervisor to review program goals and procedures for each client.
Collect and maintain accurate data and notes utilizing data collection software.
Review and implement consultation/supervision note recommendations.
Participate in ongoing training, evaluations, and meetings, as required by Kids First.
Assist with parent training and clinical assessments, as needed.
Communicate appropriately and effectively with colleagues and families, as needed.
Track supervision hours and annually renew the RBT certification as mandated by the regulatory body to maintain the certification.
Work ethically and with integrity while following the BACB Ethical Code.
Understand and adhere to HIPAA policies as well as Kids First's policies and procedures.
Adhere to time and attendance policies and maintain a record, in good standing, of regular and reliable attendance and punctuality, to provide quality and consistent patient care. Reliable transportation and timely arrival to session is a requirement for this role.
Perform other duties as assigned.
Complete the assigned Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) training. If additional time is needed to complete the training, the paraprofessional should speak with management.

Provide direct ABA instruction according to the educational plan outlined by the Board Certified Behavior Analyst

Position Overview
The Behavior Interventionist is responsible for leading the support for students to help them fulfill their potential for intellectual, emotional, physical, and social growth.
Duties/Responsibilities
Coordinates, provides, and supervises behavioral activities for students.
Provide critical guidance to Teachers to ensure that all staff comply with and meet students' needs, especially those with special needs.
Responsible for managing and reducing risk within the classroom with the support of the Lead teacher and seeking assistance when needed to resolve the matter.
Work closely with the Dean of Scholars/Students to establish a positive, structured, and achievement-oriented school culture.
Assist in partnership with the Director of Student Support Services to ensure students with IEPs, 504s, and behavior plans have the support necessary to succeed.
Support implementing positive school investment systems that provide consistent rewards and consequences for student behavior.
Help students adjust, learn, socialize, and report to teachers about possible behavioral issues.
Collaborate with the Student Support team, Teachers, Parents, and Students to create and implement support plans for struggling students.
Facilitate the implementation of specific behavioral intervention plans.
Reinforce the effective use of the school-wide behavior plan, including the school's merit and demerit system.
Monitor behavioral pull-outs and resets during the school day.
Support the implementation and oversight of after-school detentions.
Coordinates assignments and activities with classroom teachers of students who received behavioral referrals; provides tutorial assistance as needed and monitors students' classwork while in ISS or the classroom.
Assists students in examining misbehavior and developing strategies to prevent recurrences.
Works with other school personnel to assist students in developing techniques to control and express emotions constructively, encourage positive student behavior, and promote safety in the school.
Assigns and oversees additional assignments related to student infractions.
Contacts parents regarding student conduct and behavior modification plans.
Monitor hallways and conduct restroom checks to ensure the safety and well-being of students.
Available for critical school events, including staff meetings, open houses, parent-teacher conferences, and more.
Performs routine administrative office tasks as required, including but not limited to preparing reports and correspondence, copying and filing documents, answering the telephone, sending and receiving documents and emails, and entering and retrieving data.
Assist the Teachers by problem-solving and making timely determinations with classroom issues solution focused.
