POSITION DETAILS
As a Behavior Technician/ Registered Behavior Technician, you will work one-on-one with children with autism spectrum disorder, providing ABA therapy, whether it be from a patient's home, school, or in the community.
As a Behavior Technician, you will:
Provide direct 1:1 ABA therapy in the home and community environments
Follow an individualized treatment plan tailormade by a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) to address and improve deficits
Implement behavior plans created by the BCBA
Collect data through observation and submit detailed session notes
Participate in training and team meetings
Collaborate with supervisors and peers
Some of the areas you will address with your client may include:
Language acquisition
Functional communication training
Social skills training
Daily living skills
Decreasing maladaptive behaviors
Community safety skills
Toilet training
Executive function training
REQUIREMENTS
Must have current RBT certification
Must have experience working as a BT or RBT in Applied Behavior Analysis
Minimum educational requirement of a High School Diploma (or equivalent)
Must be at least 18 years of age
Effective communication skills both verbal and written
Strong work ethic
Ability to obtain required certifications and training (i.e. First Aid)
Reliable transportation with a current and clear driver's license
Ability to pass a criminal background check including FBI and child abuse clearances

POSITION DETAILS
