    Job Description Registered Behavior Technician Reports To: Branch Manager Shift: 8:30am - 4:30pm, Monday through Friday Status: Non-Exempt Job Title: Registered Behavior Technician At the Applied Behavior Center for Autism, our mission is to provide individualized, evidence-based services to children with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) and their families. Position Overview: The Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) will provide direct, one-on-one behavioral therapy and interventions to children with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) under the supervision of a Board-Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA). Required Qualifications: Active RBT certification through the Behavior Analyst Certification Board (BACB). Compensation: Pay Range: $19-$27 per hour based on prior RBT experience. Benefits: 3.5% match 401k plan 9 PTO days + 9 paid holidays Full health, dental, and vision insurance Career advancement opportunities via 7 level progressive therapist system Key Responsibilities: Therapy & Intervention: Deliver individualized ABA therapy sessions, applying evidence-based interventions to support clients' development and behavior management. Implement behavior intervention plans (BIPs) and skill acquisition programs as developed by the BCBA. Promote and reinforce adaptive behaviors and discourage maladaptive behaviors. Provide direct care, including working on tasks related to communication, socialization, academic skills, and daily living activities. Collaboration: Work closely with the BCBA to discuss treatment progress and client needs. Participate in team meetings, providing input about the clients' progress, behavior, and development. Engage in regular communication with families to provide updates on client progress and reinforce strategies at home. Professional Development: Maintain RBT certification by completing ongoing training and education, as required by the Behavior Analyst Certification Board (BACB). Actively participate in training and supervision sessions with the BCBA to ensure fidelity in the implementation of behavior intervention strategies. Preferred Qualifications: Experience implementing Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) techniques and strategies. Familiarity with behavior management systems and data collection procedures. Experience working in a clinical or educational setting. At least 1 year of experience working with children with Autism Spectrum Disorder or other developmental disabilities. Strong communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills. Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team. Physical Requirements: Ability to actively engage with children, including physical movement such as kneeling, standing, sitting on the floor, and lifting up to 50 pounds. Ability to remain patient and composed in challenging situations. Work Environment: The work environment is primarily within the Applied Behavior Center for Autism, which includes therapy rooms, classrooms, and common areas for client interactions. Some travel may be required for home or school visits. This position is contingent upon continued funding and will be discontinued if funding ends. This position works 183 days per school year, 7.25 hours per day, and follows the Board approved school holiday schedule. SALARY Salary will be commensurate with the level of education and experience of the recommended candidate. Therapists holding an LCSW, LMHC, or LMFT will earn a base minimum of $58,000 annually (with potential increase based on experience). Ireland Home Based Services is looking to grow and needs Home Based Therapists to build positive behavioral change with families and children. An individual who may be eligible for the therapist position here at IHBS will meet the qualifications of one of the following: Master's or Doctorate degree with a current license issued by the Indiana Behavioral Health and Human Services Licensing Board Master's degree with a temporary permit issued by the Indiana Behavioral Health and Human Services Licensing Board Master's degree in related human services field having completed a minimum of 24 post-secondary semester hours in a qualifying human services degree field. A unique benefit is team members have the opportunity to drive company cars for work purposes, and can pay a fee to drive the car for personal use, if they qualify with satisfactory MVR. Based on statistics from AAA, paying a personal use fee for a company car could increase total compensation up to $7000-$8000 per year. Personal use fee pays for all fuel, maintenance, license and registration. You can also use this vehicle to drive for vacations! Don't put the wear and tear on your personal vehicle...drive a safe, reliable vehicle we provide! Hours will include evenings and potentially some weekends. You would be required to travel to 2-3 counties per week.
