We are seeking a full-time Family Therapist to provide therapy to our clients and their families.
Our Family Therapists may be scheduled for one evening and one weekend day (in addition to weekdays - 40 hours/week) for the benefit of clients and their families.

Position Summary: As an RBT/BT at BehaviorCare Therapy, you'll be working

Work one-on-one with kids in their homes to help them learn and grow using play-based ABA techniques (we'll train you if you're new!)
Follow simple step-by-step treatment plans made by your supervisor (BCBA) - we'll show you exactly what to do for each child
Track progress during each session using an easy data system (Central Reach) on your phone or tablet (don't worry - we train you how to do this, too)
Team up with your BCBA and fellow techs to keep things consistent and effective - you're never doing this alone
Give feedback to families about how the session went and celebrate small wins together!
Requirements:
At least 1 year of experience in ABA or a related field (e.g., teaching, nannying, counseling, childcare)
Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) certification is a plus, but not required
Reliable transportation
Availability in afternoons and early evenings (weekends are a plus)
Ability to pass a background check

Behavior Technician will complete a training program set by the clinical team to prepare the employee to become a Registered Behavior Technician. Once this exam is passed you will have the responsibilities listed below:
· Directly implementing skill acquisition and behavior intervention plans written by a supervising BCBA
· Collecting accurate data for all treatment plans and behavior programs, which is then provided to the BCBA for analysis
· Serves in a direct care role, consulting the BCBA regularly for additional support, training, and supervision

· Responsible for maintaining thorough knowledge and understanding of each intervention and plan in place for each client on his/her caseload and those on the assigned team

· The annual renewal of the RBT Competency Assessment and Annual Renewal form must be submitted and accepted by the BACB. Continuous adherence to the BACB Ethical Standards for RBT is required.

About What You'll Work On:
You'll teach and nurture behavioral, social, communication, and daily living skills in a 1:1 setting to kiddos with autism in their home or at MeBe's Learning Center
You'll follow treatment plans developed by BCBAs that help increase the kiddo's communication, self-help, social and play skills.
You'll relay info on your kiddos' progress to BCBAs to keep them informed and assist with BCBA assessments.
At the end of each session, you'll accurately record the kiddo's progress in our data collection system Central Reach using your work assigned tablet.
You'll be responsible for clocking in, submitting your session notes and clocking out to align with strict ABA and Insurance provider regulations.
You'll help keep our workplace shipshape, safe, and super organized.
You'll help our kiddos with lunch breaks, bathroom breaks and diaper changing.
You'll voice questions, issues and concerns to your supervisors as appropriate.
You'll help to build positive relationships with families while maintaining professional boundaries.
You'll positively contribute to the MeBe Family culture.
Qualifications:
Consistent availability from Monday through Friday.
Must be at least 18-years-old with a valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
RBT/CBT certification preferred. Must obtain RBT/CBT certification within 60 days of employment (MeBe will help you!)
