Essential Functions
Oversee the full range of ABA treatment services including assessment, programming, progress monitoring, program modification, parent training, care coordination with other providers, and insurance authorization. Ensures all standards of care are followed per state and insurance guidelines.
Provide clinical recommendations regarding treatment intensity, modality, and transition/ exit planning, in collaboration with parents and other stake holders, with the emphasis on delivering developmentally appropriate and socially valid client outcomes.
Evaluate and modify treatment based on the Caravel Quality of Effective Treatment (QET) measure.
Provide training and supervision to all levels of clinical staff to ensure high quality treatment services.
Supervise others with a focus on developing supervisees' independent clinical skills, problem-solving skills, critical thinking skills, and fulfillment of certification requirements.
Collaborate with other clinicians and cross functional team members.
Complete all administrative tasks in a timely fashion, including but not limited to generating reports, completing insurance reviews, and completing forms to ensure appropriate funding for client services and staff management.

Position Qualifications and Education Requirements:
Requires a four-year degree in the areas of Social Services, Psychology, Family Services, Child Life, Counseling or other healthcare related field. Job Description
Family Therapist (BSFT)
Compensation: $62,000 - $70,000 per year
Schedule: Full-Time | Monday - Friday | 9:00 AM - 5:00 PM (Hybrid)
We are seeking a compassionate Family Therapist specializing in Brief Strategic Family Therapy (BSFT) to join our client's prevention team in Cedar Rapids, Iowa. In this role, you will work to support child safety, strengthen family dynamics, and prevent foster care placements by providing structured, in-home therapy sessions. You will collaborate closely with case planners and the BSFT team to promote a safe and stable home environment.
Key Responsibilities:
Therapeutic Engagement: Establish and maintain strong therapeutic relationships with all family members, conducting weekly in-home BSFT sessions for approximately 10 families.
Assessments: Continuously evaluate family safety and risk factors, developing safety plans as needed.
Family Therapy: Implement a strength-based approach to engage family members in developing treatment plans, improving communication, and addressing collective family needs.
Documentation: Maintain accurate and timely records for ACS and BSFT, ensuring compliance with all reporting requirements.
Professional Development: Actively participate in BSFT training, supervision, and competency evaluations to enhance therapeutic effectiveness.
Qualifications:
Education: Master's degree in Psychology, Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, or Mental Health Counseling required.
Experience: 2-5 years of clinical experience (family systems therapy preferred).
Skills: Strong assessment, communication, and documentation abilities (bilingual skills are a plus).
