Major Duties and Responsibilities:
Provide Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) therapy to clients in a clinical setting.
Teach self-help skills, language/communication skills, and social skills to clients with autism across the lifespan in a 1:1 and group setting
Implement behavior intervention plans to decrease maladaptive behaviors
Collect data electronically on individualized treatment goals
Provide daily written and verbal progress notes on treatment goals
Communicate, orally and in a written form, in a clear and effective manner-with clients, families, and coworkers
Attend meetings, trainings, and workshops (as assigned by your supervisors) to acquire further knowledge
Qualifications for the Position:
Required: Being capable of lifting 50lbs.
Must live in the state of Kentucky or Indiana.
Required: Being capable of performing physical activity.
Required: High School Diploma or equivalent.
Preferred: RBT Certification, Experience, Applied Behavior Analysis, Speech and Hearing Services, or related field. Other fields are considered on a case-by-case basis.
Ability to accept constructive feedback and develop knowledge and skill sets accordingly.
Effective time management skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks at one time.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Ability to develop and maintain professional relationships with clients, co-workers, supervisors, and community members.
Ability to adhere to organizational policies and procedures and abide by the code of ethics as indicated by the Behavior Analyst Certification Board (BACB).
Commitment to maintaining client confidentiality and adhering to HIPAA laws.
Commitment to ongoing training and development as it relates to clinical skills, professional development, ethics, technology, and training to perform job responsibilities.
