What You'll Do: Conducting assessments using tools such as ABLLS-R, VB-MAPP, PEAK, AFLS, Vineland, Essential for Living, and functional behavior assessments. Developing individualized treatment plans and behavior intervention plans (BIPs) for center-based, in-home, community-based, and telehealth ABA programs. Supervising Behavior Technicians and supporting performance management, coaching, training, and competency development. Providing ongoing parent training and participating in family, treatment-team, and stakeholder meetings. Monitoring learner progress, analyzing data, and making clinical recommendations based on medical necessity. Primary Job Function: To work in a fast-paced and often intense learning environment to provide Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) treatment to children diagnosed with Autism Spectrum Disorder. We are looking for Behavior Technicians for center based services in the Lansing Area. Starting pay starts at $19.00/hour with no experience and increases depending on prior experience. Hours of operation are Mon-Fri, 8-4pm. We request that you can work a minimum of 10 hours. A Behavior Technician provides direct one-on-one behavioral interventions to individuals with autism to teach communication, social skills, and reduce problematic behaviors in the home, community, and school settings. Behavior Technicians will utilize interventions developed out of the science of Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) and are advised by a Licensed Behavior Analyst. No training in ABA? Do not worry - we will invest in you to get you trained and on your way! We often find that individuals that had no prior experience truly enjoy the work and obtain advanced credentials in the field.
