As a Registered Behavior Technician (RBT), you will work one-on-one with children with autism, implementing ABA therapy techniques to help them develop daily living, communication, and social skills. Service locations include in-center, in-home, in-school and in the community.

Position Summary
Position will be responsible for implementing and collecting data on individualized applied behavior analysis programs for assigned clients. The incumbent works with individuals and groups to promote optimum treatment outcomes through the acquisition of socially significant adaptive behaviors and reduction in maladaptive behaviors.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
The essential functions include, but are not limited to the following:
Implement behavior modification programs
Attend and participate in treatment/behavior management team meetings with staff
Ability to collect data as assigned by supervisor
Ability to utilize online data collection and scheduling software (i.e. AlohaABA and Motivity).
Ability to effectively communicate with clients verbally and in written correspondence
Understands and works with the various support systems available in the community
Possesses excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to handle emotionally charged situations
Ability to train others to apply effective behavior management techniques
Communicate critical information about clients to supervisors
Maintain confidentiality of records relating to client's treatment
Record client progress through data collection measures and summary sheets according to measurable goals described in treatment and care plan.
Prepare and maintain all required treatment materials, records, data sheets, and stimuli
Attend weekly/monthly staff meetings
Minimum Qualifications (Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities)
A minimum of high school diploma but Bachelor's degree in psychology, counseling, occupational therapy, human services, speech and language, or closely related field preferred
Drivers license and reliable means of transportation
Ability to understand the characteristics of a wide range of intellectual disabilities
Personal and professional experience with mindfulness or meditation work preferred
Applicant must be able to be a team player and take feedback and implement
BLS and CPR Certified (Preferred but not required)
RBT or BCAT Certified (Preferred but not required)
CPI or NCI trained (Preferred but not required)
