Defined as:
Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and ability to adjust focus. This job requires the ability to run and walk for a minimum of 5 minutes, escort a student for a minimum of 5 minutes, and be able to climb a six foot fence. This position must be able to respond quickly to active and aggressive children, adolescents, and young adults ages 5 to 22. Physical response may include evasion, and/or performing approved escorts, holds, and restraints to maintain student and staff safety. These activities may require the ability to run, use of arms in deflecting, restraining, or holding for periods of time with a moderate to high level of force, use of torso and hips to balance or hold, and ability to kneel and rise, or lie on the ground and rise swiftly and safely.

Injury exposure: position requires physical activity and occasionally physical management of a student therefore may present conditions for injury
Environmental Exposures: potential exposure to secretions, saliva, blood, urine, and feces; thereby, potentially at risk for exposure to bloodborne pathogens

Minimum Qualifications:
High School Diploma or equivalent.
Reliable transportation, driver's license, working cell phone and valid car insurance - and provide documentation of such to employer when requested.
Experience working with children.
Ability to pass background check, fingerprinting, and complete application for Certified Behavior Technician license.
Successful completion of 40 hour training within 1 week of employment (stipend upon completion).
CPR (required within 90 days of hire).
Food Handler's Card (required within 90 days of hire)
Fingerprinting (required within 90 days of hire)
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience working with children in school, home or community settings.
Experience with & understanding of Applied Behavior Analysis.
Experience working with children with special needs.
2 or 4 year degree in Education, Psychology, or related field.
Candidates who hold a current Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) credential or Certified Behavior Technician (CBT) will be given first consideration.
Job Duties detailed:
Provide direct student care in 1:1 and group formats
Prepare meals and snacks for students
Utilize a combination of intensive teaching and natural environment training arrangements in home, clinic, and community settings.
Follow the prescribed behavioral skill acquisition and behavior reduction protocols.
Follow and record data for prescribed training protocols.
Collect, record, and summarize data on observable student behavior.
Utilize safe & appropriate procedures when working with students.
Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work and school environment.
Sit, stand and move with children to maintain effective programming and implement safety procedures as directed by the BCBA, described in student programs or to prevent imminent harm.
Maintain student confidentiality.
Collaborate professionally with the treatment team including student, parents and caregivers, outside professionals, Lead Behavioral Technician, Behavior Specialist, coworkers, etc
Assist Lead Behavioral Technician and Behavior Analysts in preparing student materials as instructed.
Maintain and acquire technical knowledge by attending required training.

All LCSNW team members will contribute to our mission of partnering with individuals, families and communities for health, justice and hope. The Victim Advocate provides support, crisis intervention, and general, medical, and legal advocacy for primary and/or secondary survivors of crime. Services are offered in collaboration with criminal and civil justice providers and other systems as appropriate and requested by the community. The Victim Advocate informs and refers to resources and specific wrap-around support so people can make informed and empowered decisions. Provide crisis intervention as needed, in and out of facility, to people who are primary or secondary victims of crime
Foster collaboration with team members and community providers to deliver culturally appropriate services that empower and cater to the needs of survivors, including BIPOC, refugee, and immigrant populations, while staying informed about available resources for these specific communities
Maintain compliance with program and documentation requirements, dictates of legal system, accreditation and training standards and any other requirements in support of service delivery
Provides phone coverage and crisis response on designated shifts, secures a replacement for designated shifts as needed, and fills-in for team members as needed on their shifts
Medical advocacy including but not limited to informing survivors of their rights in medical settings; assisting survivors in making informed decisions about medical care; providing information on medical care/concerns; providing support at medical exams and appointments; and providing information about Crime Victim Compensation and helping to locate providers
