Position Summary:
As a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) in a school setting, you will provide behavior assessment, consultation, and intervention for students with behavioral challenges and developmental disabilities. SUMMARY: We are seeking a Conflicts and Business Intake Compliance Counsel. The ideal candidate will act as counsel to the law firm in identifying and resolving actual and potential conflicts of interest arising out of new business intake and the hiring of lawyers and staff joining the firm, as well as assisting with the onboarding of clients, matters, lawyers and staff. Core responsibilities include counseling lawyers and staff in resolving actual and potential conflicts and providing legal and operational support for the Office of General Counsel in its implementation of risk management strategies relating to new business intake, legal hiring, compliance and other legal matters involving the firm. Members of the Office of General Counsel work as an integrated team with many other departments of the firm, including management, and they are seen as valued resources and trusted advisors to the partners, associates and staff of the firm.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
Perform initial review of conflicts reports requested by firm attorneys, identify actual and potential conflicts of interest and coordinate resolution of conflicts among all involved parties.
Advise the firm and its attorneys regarding the appropriate form and terms of engagement letters for use in documenting new engagements and counseling and assisting attorneys on drafting such letters as needed.
Approve engagement letter drafts prior to distribution to clients and assist with drafting waivers for inclusion in engagement letters or separate letters as required.
Monitor compliance with new business intake instructions and requirements, such as the completion and execution of appropriate engagement letters and any necessary waivers, implementation of ethical screens where necessary and assessment of intake risk by the firm.
Act as a resource in assisting firm attorneys in understanding conflicts of interest and managing conflicts and new business intake in an appropriate manner, including participation in firm presentations and training programs as needed.
Review conflicts reports for incoming lateral lawyers, new lawyers and legal support staff and take necessary action to clear actual and potential conflicts of interest, including interfacing with candidates where necessary to obtain further information about their work.
OTHER DUTIES ASSIGNED:
Provide legal advice to the firm and its personnel regarding various professional responsibility and risk management matters as required by the Office of General Counsel.
Tasks may include development and updating of firm policies and forms for internal use; reviewing and providing legal advice regarding client Outside Counsel Guidelines and vendor contracts; maintaining and updating terms of engagement letters, waiver letters and related documents based on changes in the law and firm practice; assisting in development of strategies and methodologies for identifying, managing, and resolving conflicts of interest and assessing client and matter fit; and developing and/or conducting internal conflicts training for the firm's lawyers and staff.
EXTENT OF CONTACT:
This position requires a high degree of contact with:
the firm's General Counsel and Assistant General Counsels;
the firm's Director of Office Services, Business Intake Risk and Compliance Director, Business Intake Manager, Conflicts Specialists and other business intake staff;
firm partners, associates and staff, including executive management.
This position requires limited contact with individuals outside of the firm.

Position is full-time, requiring a 5-day work week and standard hours as outlined in the firm policy manual, with additional hours as required when necessary to meet deadlines.

The ABA Specialist/Behavior Analyst provides behavior-analytic consultation to IEP teams and supports classrooms, teachers, and students at DCIU and within Delaware County schools. Consultative services provided by the ABA Specialist/Behavior Analyst include conducting Functional Behavior Assessments (FBAs), developing Positive Behavior Support Plans (PBSPs), conducting Verbal Behavior Assessments, providing consultation, supervision, and staff training.
The ABA Specialist/Behavior Analyst leads the development and implementation of behavior intervention plans and instructional programs grounded in the principles of Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) and evidence-based behavioral interventions and supports to address the learning and behavioral needs of students. This position supervises and provides support to Registered Behavior Technicians (RBTs), Crisis Managers, and conducts their annual evaluations. Additionally, the ABA Specialist/Behavior Analyst collaborates with and oversees Personal Care Assistants (PCAs) placed in DCIU programs by various contracting agencies, ensuring alignment with behavior plans and student needs.

Lead supervisor and support to Registered Behavior Technicians (RBTs), Personal Care Assistants (PCA), Paraprofessionals, Crisis Managers, and staff completing internships, practicums, and/or courses in ABA.

Behavior Specialists train and work with an assigned clinical leader to design and implement CBT-specific treatment plans to address presenting symptoms.
Job Duties & Responsibilities:
Provide cognitive behavioral and other therapeutic services including groups, to patients, according to clinical standards of care and under the supervision of the Clinical leader to address patients' specific needs and goals.
Participate in supervision sessions with the Clinical leader, communicate regularly on specific patient progress, and adjustments needed to care plan based on observations and response to interventions delivered.
Regularly monitor the effectiveness of interventions and make necessary adjustments. This involves administering outcome measures, reviewing the results, and modifying interventions as needed in consultation with Clinical leader. Behavior specialists will ensure that interventions are producing the desired outcomes.
Document mental health services according to applicable regulations and payer expectations. Assure acute and timely documentation of therapeutic treatment plans, outcome assessments, psychosocial information, and other patient care data is completed within the medical record. Additional documentation may be completed under close supervision of the Clinical leader within SUD programs.
Participate in multidisciplinary treatment team meetings and assist in development of the treatment plan.
Communicate treatment interventions and support needs for assigned caseload to applicable interdisciplinary team members and to support systems as needed.
Offer training support to other direct care team members less familiar with cognitive behavioral treatment interventions (MHT, nurses, clinic assistants, etc.).
Providing parent or support person training and education on how to support CBT interventions and behavioral treatment plans effectively. This may involve teaching positive reinforcement techniques, modeling appropriate behaviors, and providing strategies for managing challenging situations.
Provide for patient safety and the safety of the facility.
Support changes in staffing/scheduling assignment when program and patient care needs require.
Performs other duties as assigned. These may include but are not limited to: Maintaining a current knowledge base of department processes, protocols, and procedures, pursuing self-directed learning, and continuing education opportunities, and participating on committees, task forces, and work groups as determined by management.
Education & Experience:

At minimum, must hold a valid Substance Abuse Counselor-in-Training credential (or state equivalent), if working in an Addiction Recovery program that requires this.

For Residential programs - Must hold a current and active driver's license and be in good standing (preferred for all levels of care).

American Heart Association CPR certification within thirty (30) days of hire. Bi-annual re-certification is required.

Behavior Interventionist As our Behavior Interventionist, you will work with students from Elementary to High School age, in our close and supportive school environment. Using your interpersonal skills, you'll engage them in their treatment process to work on challenges such as behavioral misconduct, severe emotional disorders, substance abuse and addictions, and other issues associated with mental and emotional well-being. This work is invaluable to promote their academic, career, personal, and social development goals, and transition students back to their home school. Perks of this role:

High School Diploma or GED
3 years or more of experience working with at risk youth
Able to successfully pass background and criminal record checks, and comply with drug free workplace rules
