    Full-time Description Behavioral Health Allies Responsible for providing Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) services to the individuals to achieve significant change in individual's areas of needs and behaviors. The position is responsible for providing quality services under the direction of the Clinician. Registered Behavior Technicians must maintain current and appropriate certification to perform this role. Education and Experience Required High School Diploma Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) certification required, OR obtain the certification after hired with a 1-year commitment agreement. A valid Class E (MO residents) driver's license is not required to apply but must be obtained during training period. Preferred At least 12 months of experience working with adults required. At least 6 months of experience working with children with autism preferred. Some college, associates or bachelor's degree preferred. Requirements CLINICAL MANAGEMENT Coordinates regularly with the Lead Clinician to ensure consistency in division wide procedures, responses, programming and teaching principles. Works directly with the Tier 2/3 Clinician on collaboration of caseloads and implementation of client plans. Attends all required clinical meetings and trainings. Assists Lead Clinician and Tier 3 Clinician in assessments conducted on clients, by collecting or analyzing data. Conducts regular fidelity checks on assigned clients. Provides training to staff on ABA and client specific programs. Ensures staff have the tools, resources and information necessary for implementing the clients behavioral and skill acquisition plans. Attends necessary psych and medical appointments, as directed. Attends meetings and trainings as required through BHH. Maintains advanced working knowledge of ABA practices and standards. Participates in on call rotation as needed. PROGRAM MANAGEMENT AND FACILITATION OF SERVICES Receives direction under the guidance of the Lead Clinician and collaborates with the Tier 3/2 Clinician(s) as appropriate. Implements day to day programming as applicable to each individuals treatment plan. Staffs in as a direct care staff a minimum of 2 shifts per week. 4. Follows each child's behavior plan as outlined by the Clinician. 5. Assists in the preparation of programming materials as needed. 6. Ensures data for clients programming is collected on each program outlined within the plan. 7. Updates assigned clients program binder in a manner consistent with standards established by the Lead and Tiered Clinician(s). 8. Communicates with Lead and Tiered Clinicians as appropriate regarding clinical observations, child specific concerns and programming needs as appropriate. 9. Ensures a clean, safe, attractive and functional learning environment. 10. Attends trainings and meetings as required. 11. Maintains proficient understanding and working knowledge of ABA. 12. Ability to work in a fast-paced high performing team environment under strict deadlines. 13. Advanced organizational, time management and project management skills. 14. Positive responsiveness to constructive feedback. 15. Strong negotiating, listening and superior interpersonal skills. 16. Demonstrated written and verbal communication skills. 17. MANAGEMENT/LEADERSHIP Serve as a role model to establish and foster a positive culture based on trust, respect, collaboration and integrity. Through personal example, establish the style and approach which will characterize the Company's dealings with the marketplace. Assists in providing training to staff regarding clients. DOCUMENTATION REQUIREMENTS 1. Maintains accurate records for assigned clients. 2. Files and complies with documentation retention policies. 3. Collects data in accordance with company policies and client plans. 4. Submits all required reports timely. 5. Consistently maintains standards of confidentiality and ethical practice. 6. Demonstrates knowledge of applicable company policies regarding confidentiality and social media. 7. Learns and remains current with documentation systems. 8. Completion of event reporting in a timely manner per agency guidelines. 9. Reviews all data taken by Direct Support Professional (DSPs) for completeness and accuracy. COMMUNICATION AND PERSON-CENTERED SUPPORTS Provides support to individuals using person centered language. Reminds and coaches peers and co-workers to use person centered language. Maintains basic knowledge of person-centered planning techniques. Uses effective and sensitive communication skills to build rapport with individuals served, peers, and supervisors. Uses modes of communication and terminology that are appropriate to the communication needs of the individual served. CRISIS PREVENTION AND DE-ESCALATION 1. Has the ability to identify a crisis, diffuse the situation, and determine an intervention strategy. Contacts necessary supports as needed. 2. Monitors crisis situations, discusses the incident with authorized staff and participants, adjusting supports and the environment, complies with regulations for reporting. 3. Proper implementation of PCM practices as dictated by the Behavioral Support Plan. 4. Models to staff how to directly intervene and de-escalate crisis events. 5. Is an active and compliant participant in any internal and external investigations following a crisis event. OTHER DUTIES - Perform other duties and special projects to support various organizational initiatives, as assigned - Responsible, either directly or indirectly, for filing all expense reports according to company policy. - Responsible, either directly or indirectly, for completing time reports on or before the defined due date. The starting rate for this position begins at $23.44 per hour, with your final offer based on a combination of your education, relevant experience, and overall qualifications (for certified RBTs). Not yet certified? We've got you covered! We pay for the RBT course, which must be completed before your first day, and we provide exam prep support. While preparing for the exam, you'll start at a lower training rate. Once certified, your pay increases to the RBT rate.
