Safety: Maintains proper supervision of children within care at all times. Maintains a safe environment for students by ensuring children do not have access to anything that could harm or injure them. Student health and hygiene are top priority as well as teaching self help/adaptive skills.
Discrete Trial Training: Implements the procedures of Applied Behavior Analysis including completing correction procedures, teaching verbal behavior accurately, modifying instructor variables. Implements errorless learning as designed as well as prompt fading procedures.
Discrete Trial Training Part 2: Implements appropriate variable ratio schedule of work to reward, uses visuals such as schedulesles and first, then boards, token economy systems, reviews data daily and uses an appropriate pace of instruction
Mand Training: Pairs self and environment with reinforcement on a daily basis, conducts preference and reinforcer assessments, and teaches functional communication training to students
Engagement: Has a medium to high level of engagement with clients captures their motivation in order to increase skill development at a high frequency
Behavior Support Plan Implementation: Implements behavior support plans as designed including specific strategies like social extinction, therapeutic rapport, rational detachment and demonstrates professionalism, compassionate care as well as cultural competence during this time.
Administrative Job Duties: Uses professional, ABA language and privacy when discussing a client. Turns in data collection, dismissal checklist and progress reports in a timely manner. Creates materials, takes daily data and seeks input from supervisors.

The Behavioral Health Specialist (Licensed Clinical Social Work (LCSW), Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC), and/or Psychologist) will be an integral member of the NHCLV multidisciplinary team to provide mental health treatment for patients in the Integrated Behavioral Health program at NHCLV. The Behavioral Health Specialist educates patients about mental illness through the use of psychoeducation and provides mental health counseling within individual, family, couples, and group counseling settings. The Behavioral Health Specialist works closely with the primary care provider, behavioral health care managers, integrated behavioral health care navigators, and a consulting psychiatrist to revise the wellness/treatment plan when patients are not improving, and offer alternatives as needed to support treatment. The Behavioral Health Specialist will evaluate, assess, and support the patient in the office, their home, and community as needed. The Behavioral Health Specialist will utilize patient centered, family focused therapy using a variety of treatment modalities such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Solution Focused therapy.
QUALIFICATIONS
Master's degree in social work, psychology, human services, or related field.
Licensed in the state of Pennsylvania. At least two years of experience as a Behavioral Health Specialist (LCSW, LPC, and/or Psychologist).
Minimum two years of counseling related experience.
Capacity to work with families in a confidential, respectful, caring, professional manner.
Competency in Spanish Language ability (spoken/written) preferred.
Strong communication skills both verbal and written.
Adequate computer skills required (MS Office, web based software, and some knowledge of electronic health records system).
Must have strong interpersonal skills.
Excellent organizational skills needed.
Must be able to work independently and as part of a team.
Valid driver's license and car that is insured is required.
WORKING CONDITIONS
Hours of Operation: Between 7:30am - 8:00pm as scheduled based on patient needs. Evening and weekend hours possible. Full-time, salaried exempt position with occasional evening meetings and regular evening clinical hours expected but not greater than 3 days per week; rotating weekend hours required not to exceed 2 weekends per month. Clinician shall share call and coverage obligations on a substantially equal basis with the other Clinician-employees of the Corporation.
Other: Off-site work at other program sites and patient homes. Out-of-town and overnight trips possible

Remote Crisis Intervention Specialist Position Summary: Remote Crisis Intervention Specialists answer incoming crisis contacts to all Lines for Life crisis and referral helplines with care and compassion, and within the scope of each helpline program.
Remote Crisis Intervention Specialists receive extensive clinical skills training in alignment with current best practices in suicide prevention and intervention.
Remote Crisis Intervention Specialist Responsibilities:

Answer crisis helplines with compassion in accordance with the organization's training expectations and scope. Remote Crisis Intervention Specialists receive crisis contacts on over 30 different crisis lines including but not limited to: the National Suicide Prevention Lifeline, veterans and military crisis lines, its YouthLine, its Senior Loneliness Line, an alcohol and drug helpline, hospital mental health crisis lines and behavioral health scheduling calls, as well as county mental health crisis lines.
Document crisis contacts in an accurate and timely manner with relevant clinical information in an electronic health record system.
Place follow-up calls to crisis contacts as scheduled by the shift supervisor.
Assist with placing rescue calls as needed when other crisis lines staff or volunteers are on acute crisis contacts requiring emergency assistance.
Triage crisis contacts and collaborate with coworkers to manage crisis contact flow and ensure that the lines remain available for contacts in escalated crisis.
Complete mandatory trainings and workshops to continue learning the latest policies and protocols and stay up to date on crisis intervention tools & techniques.

Remote Crisis Intervention Specialist Training
Lines for Life requires extensive Crisis Lines Onboarding training, which can be completed remotely. New hires must attend 5 weeks of paid crisis lines onboarding training. The next training begins March 9th and consists of 3 weeks between 8:30am - 5:00pm Pacific Time, Monday through Friday, plus 2 weeks of additional precepting training. The schedule for precepting can vary as we are a 24/7, 365 day a year operation, so flexibility in your availability is needed to complete the precepting portion of the training. We want to make sure that all candidates understand that while you do get a scheduled lunch break, even missing half hour portions of these trainings can result in training expectations not being met. Due to the trainings being group trainings, there is generally no flexibility for each candidate to be able to take their breaks at different times. What You'll Do:
As a Lead Behavior Technician, you'll play a meaningful role in working directly in a residential therapeutic setting with individuals in need of behavior stabilization with a diagnosis of autism spectrum disorder. Responsibilities
What you can expect to do.
Collaborate with school staff, teachers, and leaders to support students with intensive behavioral needs. Realize the joy of possibility as you provide customized behavior support and utilize positive behavioral intervention. You will play an essential role as part of a multidisciplinary team in delivering holistic guidance.
* Work with a diverse group of students from varying developmental, cultural, ethnic, racial, and socioeconomic backgrounds.
* Provide consistent monitoring and support throughout the school site (e.g., in classrooms, transition areas, etc.).
* Support the creation and implementation of behavior support plans.
* Record, track, and provide documentation of behavioral incidents and progress toward goals.
* Utilize positive behavioral intervention and support strategies and school site incentive programs.
* Implement de-escalation techniques, crisis management, and physical intervention if necessary to maintain the safety of students and staff.
* Foster a positive and inclusive environment that encourages the development of appropriate social and behavioral skills.
* Work in collaboration with interdisciplinary team members to develop differentiated support for students with more intensive needs.
* Participate in the debriefing process with staff after challenging behavior/crisis situations.
* Facilitate communication with parents.
Qualifications
* High school diploma required; college experience or bachelor's degree highly preferred.
* RBT certification required.
* Experience working in an educational setting implementing behavioral interventions for students with intensive behavioral needs.
* Emotional consistency and resilience to handle stressful situations in a composed and positive manner.
* Flexibility and willingness to jump in and support where needed to ensure the safety and well-being of staff and students.

Physical Requirements
* Ability to run short distances and move swiftly in response to student needs, including bending, kneeling, and crouching.
* Ability to lift and assist students with mobility challenges, often requiring the handling of up to 50 pounds or more.
* Skill in managing fine motor tasks, such as helping students with writing, manipulating small objects, or using adaptive devices.
* Ability to operate a computer or tablet for up to 8 hours daily.
* Capacity to notice and respond to non-verbal cues from students

The Camp Behavior Specialist position is responsible for providing behavioral support to campers, and for providing coaching to seasonal staff regarding behavioral management of campers with mild developmental disabilities, intellectual disabilities, physical disabilities, and/or behavioral challenges. Camp Behavior Specialists may work with various locations, including Camp Hannah, Camp Friendship and Camp Begins.
Camp Behavior Specialists work flexible schedules between 7am- 6pm. Typical hours are 25-30 hours a week. Internship credit is available.
* Develop, plan and implement personalized behavior plans for campers which are developmentally appropriate and supportive to campers while attending Gahanna's summer camps.
* Effectively communicate with parents and/or guardians to collaborate in the creation of behavior plans to best reach the child, and provide parents and/or guardians with updates about their child's behavior throughout the summer.
* Provide Camp Counselors with clear direction for the implementation of camper behavior plans, which includes facilitating a learning session at pre-season training.
* Assist Camp Counselors with handing interactions where campers are having difficulty with their intervention plan.
* Facilitate small group social-emotional learning activities and conflict resolution exercises, as needed.
* Maintain documentation of incidents, behavioral plans, and behavioral progress tracking.
* Abide by all mandatory reporting and communication policies, as described in the staff manual.
* Evaluate the effectiveness of programs and recommend modifications to existing programs.
* Support other department functions as assigned.
* Provides internal and external customer service and maintains relationships.

Any combination of education, training, and experience as listed below which provides the required knowledge, skills, and abilities to perform the essential functions of the job. A typical way to qualify is by having obtained (or currently enrolled in a program to obtain) a bachelor's degree for Applied Behavior Analysis or a closely related field.
* Licensure or Certification Requirements
* Current and valid Ohio driver's license with an acceptable driver's abstract, to meet criteria for insurability established by the City of Gahanna.
* First Aid/CPR/AED certification or willingness to obtain.
* Assist other members of the Leadership Team in planning all-camp activities, community involvement programs, and enrichment sessions for the specified camp program area.
* Demonstrate enthusiasm, while leading, assisting, and/or actively participating in all program areas, as assigned.
* Maintain exceptional standards of cleanliness, health, and safety in all camp operations, always adhering to American Camp Association standards.
* Be alert to equipment and facilities, to ensure utilization, proper care and maintenance is adhered to. Promptly report repairs needed to the camp management team and/or supervisor.
* Maintain an appropriate level of formal/professional conduct, in an informal environment.
* Provide parents/guardians and the public with appropriate feedback and information, when addressing questions and concerns, with assistance from the Leadership Team or supervisor, as needed.
* Be available for camp staff training prior to the camp season and for in-service training/meetings during camp season; some of these may occur outside of regularly scheduled program hours. Pre-season availability is required.
